A hard reset involves physically removing the battery from the smartphone and then reinserting it. To perform a hard reset, complete the following steps:
1) Remove the battery cover from the back of the BlackBerry smartphone. 2) Remove the battery, and then reinsert it after a few seconds. 3) Replace the battery cover.
Still if it is not working kindly remove the Battery of the Handheld and try in some other Handheld. If the Battery is working fine in the other Handheld then there might be some problem with your Handheld, you need to walk into the service center.
If the Battery is not working in the other Handheld then there might be aproblem in the USB cable for these you need to walk into the service center
The red light is telling you that your phone is on. It will flash regaurdless if you have a text or not. When you charge it the light turns green.

my phone wont stay on and when it does come back on it shuts right back off. the LED light on the front keeps flashing red. ive taken the battery out and everything and nothing seems to work. help please!
