Invalid usim I was using the motorola a1000 for a year now. an invalid usim massage appeared on it about two months ago. without a usim the same massage still appears. simply it does not recognise my usim. The phone says "invalid USIM". My phone only accepts 3G sims, but i tryed using a few 3G sims but still none of them work. Why is that? Please help. p.s. is my phone blocked by any chance?

hi invalid Sim occurs because your mobile is locked to particular network due to this it accept only that particular network if you insert other provider sim card it shows invalid sim to remove this you should unlock your mobile we can unlock using software,cable ,codes etc but codes seems to be simple compared to other since it saves our time a lot many online sites render unlock codes

here you select the model of your mobile and country provider to which your mobile get locked and get the unlock codes from them.

mine done the same, i put the sim into my dads phone and it aksed for a puk code i got a puk code from orange customer services and unlocked the sim using my dads phone when i put it back into my viewty all was fine hope this helps

buenas amigo lo que tienes que hacer es irte a la lista de contactos, coges el numero que esta en el cel, lo celeccionas vez que arriva dice edit, al lado de contacto, y vas a la opcion copi contac to USIN y listo te pasa el contacto a la sim card, esto tienes que hacerlo contacto por contacto...

USIM is 3G only SIM card and is working ONLY with 3G enabled devices. LG Cookie isn't 3G device so it won't accept USIM.

maybe you bought the wrong battery model for your cellphone.. you should make sure that the old model is exactly the same with the new battery that you bought.

Is the IDEA sim card a 3G USIM or a 2/2.5G SIM?
The A1000 is a 3G phone, and the SIM card is not the same as a 2/2.5G SIM, so compatibility is not guaranteed and may be the cause of your reboots.

Those check points are provided to bring the a1000 to bootloader - flash mode. If they fail to do so, and you are shure that you've connected them properly, then the bootloader is damaged. If the bootloader can't be brought online properlly, then a reflash woun't work. There is no user fix to apply to a broken or corrupted bootloader, because you simply need it to have the phone recognised by the computer. Therefore only a phone service can handle that, and most of them woun't from what I know. I had an a1000 for 1 year, did all sort of flashing, SEEM editing and such stuff on it, but then, as it is now, the problem wasn't "fixable". I am sorry for I can't provide a real help.
