I do not remember my password so therefore I cannot open my door from the keyless pad - or reset for a new password. Please help me clear the old password and install new one. HELP!!!!
If I am correct, there is a green button on the opener. Hold that down until it stop blinki ng. Once it has, pres the opener. It should read the code and work the next time you hit the opener remote.

Make sure that when inserting the 9 volt battery that those red & black wires are not somehow pinched, twisted or stretched. I just fixed mine... The battery terminal was crushing one of the wires and preventing the battery to supply power to the keypad. I found it out by NOT securing the battery case door and my opener worked fine. Securing the battery case door with the screw and thightening, my opener DID NOT WORK. It was that simploe of a FIX!

How do I reset the keyless entry? I have an old model maybe 25 yrs. old. There is a operate & program select swich inside where the battery is , which is in garage. There is no enter button on keypad, just the #'s.I have tried selecting program position then four #'s, & then select operate position this doesn't work . Thanks .
I moved into an old house and the previous owners did not know their code for me to change the keyless entry on the side of the garage. Need to know how to reset or if there is someone to talk to at Craftsman that I can give all necessary information to allow for reset?
