Mouse and Keyboard not recognized

After booting up my mouse and keyboard are frozen. It is like the computer doesn't recognize them. While booting, the keyboard lights are flashing but once the desktop is up the keyboard or mouse are active.

Do you know why this is happening?

How do I setup my wireless mouse and keyboard

Need more information but normally you would hook up the infrared device or usb device to the laptop. Then you would make sure that the keyboard and mouse has new batteries in it. At that point windows should recognize the mouse and keyboard. You may have to push on the connect buttons on the keyboad or mouse to get the laptop to recognize them.
Other then that its not really hard. Just time consuming if it doesn't take right away. Most of the time you don't need software installed unless the manual tells you to install them because windows will recognize them.

Computer boots up but wireless keyboard and mouse not recognized. Hard wired wont work either. I have the Model 5187utf and the HP Pavillion m7050e computer.

Try the wireless keyboard/mouse on another computer, to verify that they are working correctly.

Try the "hard-wired" keyboard/mouse on another computer, to verify that they are working correctly.

If so, then it's your computer's motherboard that needs to be replaced (exact replacement or an upgrade).

The keyboard is not recognized by your PC. By the way, do you have the software installer for your keyboard.? Run the installer in your PC, and try again
if it now recognize the keyboard.

Computer doesn't recognize keyboard

This is sort of general but it just may help.
Make sure your batteries are in correctly.
Make sure the transmitter dongle is in the USB.
Look on the transmitter and the mouse and keyboard
itself (bottom) for a little tiny button that says connect
or reconnect. Move the mouse about six inches away from
the transmitter and press both the transmitter and the mouse.
That should reestablish the signal twixt the two.(or three KB)

Keyboard not recognized

I'm assuming it's a wireless keyboard?

Have you tried "ReSyncing" the keyboard?

1) On the base unit for the keyboard/mouse plugged into the computer press the button on it.
2) Press the button on the bottom of your keyboard.
3) Try to use the keyboard.

You might have to try it a couple of times. That'll fix the problem 99% of the time. The other 1% means your keyboard is dead.

Mouse and keyboard not recognized on second computer

Solution for the mouse. I have 8 KVM's. Most of my computers work with the KVMs. On 1 inland KVM the logitect and Microsoft optical mice do not work on one computer (but work with the other computers). They both are USB. I hook them up with a USB to PS2 adapter. If I use a ps2 ball mouse connected to the KVM the mouse works. All the Mice work if I directly connect them. Since I do not want a ball mouse I got a Frisby optical PS2 mouse. It works with all the computers on the KVM's.

I do not have a solution for the Keyboard yet. 1 computer (ASUS MB) on my trendnet or belkin 4 postion KVM does not recognize the keyboard.

Apple macbook will not recognize GE wireless mouse

I've got one of those. We had problems with it chewing batteries up. You might try another mouse on that computer, and try that mouse on another computer.

Wireless keyboard doesnt work with switch

once you have switched pc you will need to re-sync the wireless keyboard and mouse with the new pc, because although you have switched pc the keyboard and mouse do not know this. there should be a reset/resync button on the bottom of both the keyboard and mouse
