Night service on T7316E

That is generally how Night mode works - alerting you to a call then directing the caller to voicmail night message. You want to change the Forward No Answer setting in that mode; if your system doesn't support that, set FNA in regular (non-Night) for the attendant phone.

You need to ensure that the main bell is programmed to ring, also that the extensions are also programmed to ring as well. Also check that the ringer is switched on, on the base of the telephones. Also ensure your handsets to not go over the ren value permitted. Make sure the service is on the correct day service and not night service. Check that the handsets ring internally and ensure they are registered with the system. Ensure that the connections and wiring are also correct,

Log into the mailbox and check the setting via ADMIN or 8 then press 8 again to set it up.
Make sure your cell # is in there and see that its told to grab the right line, pool or route. If all seems ok but still an issue then you need to call your vendor in to look at system/lines.

You need software version 6.1 or above rod Distinctive Ring tone for lines. programming via Config/Lines/Data

Somewhere on your set theres probably a night key that was accidently pressed. It might or might not be marked as such,but there should be an indicator (triangle) on the screen that shows that its on. TO turn off press the night key again. The indicator should go off.

An AT&T specialist was able to help me over the phone

check to see if theres a night or attendant button on the receptionists console. if so make sure its toggled off.

That phone controls putting the system into Night Service. Turn off NS and the time & date will be displayed again.

If you can dial *7801 on the intercom from your phone and it puts the system in night mode, then you can program a button to do the same. It would be better if you go to the original phone where the buttons worked and read them (PROG press the button and write down what it says).

Now go to your phone, press PROG the same button and dial the code you wrote down. In the simplest, you put 593 ENTER for DAY/NIGHT. Then PROG to exit. If you want more options, then 59x can be 0 for DAY/NIGHT/LUNCH/BREAK 1 for D/N/B 2 for D/N/L.

Every time you press the button, it will toggle to a different setting and the display will show it.
