Does not turn on always while cooking and temp. doesn't stay even

set around the receipe recommended temp but remember that most on tv cooks always say around the temp ( around 180 or around 250 for about 1hour or about 10 minutes
When cooking , nothing is set in concrete so to speak

The thermostat is working in that it supplies power to the heating element but it is not working in regulating the temperatures in between. Needs to be replaced/adjusted.

There are several possibilities. Make certain your fuse at the main electrical box is correct for a 220VAC line. You do not want to OVER POWER the range. If that is normal, check all cords for insulation and flexibility. Check thermostat controls on the burners and/or oven.
If parts are normal, the only thing you can do is manually set temps lower when using the oven. Glass tops generally stay hot for several minutes after they are turned off. That is Normal, for example, to avoid Glass from fracturing; temperature slowly declines. Lastly; if all is lost, call for a serviceman to check it out, as you do not want a house fire.

This means a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. You need to check that when you turn the automatic off, there is no time remaining in the cook time. You need to ensure that this is set to zero when cancelling the auto function.
If this still doesn't worh then espares will be able to source a replacement clock for you.

A weak oven ignitor will cause this problem. even though it eventually lights the temp has dropped considerably so you don't get consistent temp. turn the oven on and listen for the burner to light. should light within about 2 minutes. if not replace oven ignitor(s)

sounds like it was in the preheat mode the cent to the cook mode so you can cook

I just solved this problem with my GE gas range. I waited forever for the oven to warm up. The igniter would glow, light the burner and burn for a minute or so and go out. It would repeat this process till oven reached operating temp, which took forever. Problem is in the igniter. It may be glowing, but it is not letting the gas valve stay open, because it is not hot enough to create resistance in it to keep gas valve open. I had replaced the thermostat thinking it was the problem. The good part about it was I could take it back because my buddy works at supply house. Once the igniter was replaced, the oven fired up and stayed lit till operating temp was reached. It will also hold the oven temp much better. Oh yea, the igniter will stay glowing while the burner is on. Hope this helps.

Sears Kenmore Electric Wall OVen, Mod.#9114012192 purchased in 1993. Set oven for 425 degrees, reaches set temperature, stays on about 10 minutes and temp. display goes out and oven starts cooling down. Will not stay on desired temp.to cook. Can you tell me what my problem is? Thanks. Doug.
