I have the same TV same problem. It blinks 7 times. I am unplugging the TV and cable for 4 hours and see what happens. My problem is I don't want to invest too much in repairs ( this set is only 4 yrs old ) but I'm not sure how much is too much since I hve no idea what the repair cost would be. That is either the tube or a short circuit video driver semiconductor. If it is intermittant, I would go for tube and prepair to purchase a replacement TV. Sorry
4 times standby light blink shows that tv got problem in vertical deflection section and probably vertical output IC got defective, need to be replaced. Replacement of parts in circuit board requires soldering work and expertise so call local tv repair shop guy if you are not familiar with soldering work. Thanks.
