May be similar to my problem on wireless home phone with answering machine not coming on when had the answering machine set to 12 rings before answering. Found the sim card (my wireless system) auto response would answer first. Fixed it by reducing time to 6 rings and answering machine now comes on first.

In coming call go straight to net mail voice box & the answering machine does not record them

Speak to your service provider, check you do not have an answering machine service turned on, if so you'll need to get that turned off if you want your answering machine to record the message, alternativly increase to time to answer on the Net mail so that the local answering machine can answer the call first.

How to turn off answering machine

The CS5111-2 isn't an answering machine. If you have a separate answering machine connected, please refer to its documentation. If you subscribe to a voicemail system offered by your phone company, please contact them for instructions.

Answering machine Model 25865. Is there any way to turn the answering machine "on" remotely. Example: while away, electrical storm causes machine to turn off. Is there any way to remotely...

The manual for this phone doesn't say you can turn the answering machine on remotely, but every one I've ever seen can do so. Most of them say call your number and let the phone ring...and ring...and ring, and eventually the answering machine will turn on. Ten rings is what I've seen most often. I guess the manufacturers figure most callers will hang up fairly soon if the machine doesn't answer, so they pick a large number. Try it on your phone; worst that can happen is it won't work.

How to turn on machine from a remote location

Call your KX-TM150B answer machine, it will answer after 15 rings if it has power but the answer function is turned off. The greeting will play and the answer function will turn on. I have included a link where you can download the manual.
