The gun won't put out any nails anymore......It is a cordless bradnailer..

They rarely meet expectations in my experience - except for a limited number of type and length of nail in a limited number of substrates.

My cordless AEG nail guns are basically constructed like a standard hand operated nail or staple gun but operated by an electric motor - the nail is driven by the release of a spring that is compressed by a motor.
This basic design is shared by all the (affordable) cordless types I have seen. There are other types of cordless nail guns that are fit for purpose but they are expensive to buy and operate and consequently mostly bought only by serious professionals doing heavy duty work.

My AEG nail guns have a depth adjustment that is supposed to increase the power of the spring for deeper nail driving or longer nails but in practice the adjustment makes little or no difference...

The better way is to disconnect the air line from the gun, and place several drops of light oil in the gun while holding the trigger down. Oil daily. Then, re-connect the hose, and fire a few nails into scrap wood.
Another trick is to spray your nails with WD-40 before you load them into the gun.

We used nail guns for years. I still own 6 guns, but they aren't used much anymore.
You have a 'blown head gasket.'
Or there is debris from the air hose that got lodged into the gun.
There is a head gasket and a trigger gasket.
Both can blow out any time from use, lack of oil, or they can stick open from debris.
You can take apart the head and clean it up and add oil to see if that solves problem.
You can order a gun re-build kit for your model and put in the parts yourself.
You can have a nail gun repair shop do the job.

Nail guns require gun oil.
If you don't use gun for a while, oil should be put into air hose opening and then left to run down into gun. More oil is better.
If you use 3-in-1 oil or some oil besides gun oil, then it will corrode the gaskets.
When storing air hose and guns, put tape over openings so they stay clean.
Before hooking air hose to a gun, you can also put a blower on hose and blow out the line first

Try another brand of nails -- maybe your gun doesn't like those. Also, blow any dirt out of the nail magazine.

you can buy any small compressor, will do the job, it uses very low volume of air. for blowers, paintguns and drills you need high volume compressors. so if the nail gun is all you will use it for, buy an inexpensive compressor and save money. plz rate-bozcro
