which end feels loose, the dc socket on the tablet or the mains (240volts) end (three pin plug?).

If the mains end, you need you need to get a new charger, it is dangerous to continue using it.

If it is the dc socket end, there is not a lot you can do about it, as it is solder to the mainboard, unless you can unsolder it and insert a new one.
Have you thought about gluing the dc side into place, so it cannot move?

Power board is faulty, repair or replace. Workshop repair required. Oh, stop plugging a charger into the USB socket. It doesn'tlike it, thats for data transfer only. The round pin socket is the charger port

If you have already tried using another charger, then the charging port inside your phone is probably either broken or bent. I wouldn't suggest trying anything to unbend it or fix it yourself; I would go up to the store if I were you. I had the similar problem, and I just got my refurbished (4th Voyager) in the mail today. But my most recent old phone did the same thing, and I had to get it replaced; I hope I helped some!

You need to change the battery. It is not a fun thing to do. Do a word search for Navman PIn 570 Replacement battery either on Google or Ebay. You have to disassemble the unit to get to the battery that is taped to the unit's motherboard. There are hidden screws on the back of the unit, then you have to gently pry the 2 halves off. Big Heads up here: the round dial on the left side...be sure to tape that in place when you first disassemble the unit, otherwise it falls out into 2 or three pieces...that dial is a pain to get back together if you do not tape it.

I recently replaced the battery on my unit. There are two additional screws on the back of the unit, near the bottom in addition 2 screws under the flip up antenna. They are covered by small black plastic discs which need to be pried off first. After removing the rear cover with a knife edge (or similar) there are several other screws which attach the circuit board to the front of the unit which need to be removed. Note that the one near the edge should only be loosened, and the board slid out sideways. Once this has been done you should be able to access the battery which needs to be pried off the board, as it is attached with an adhesive patch.


(If the battery is totally dead it takes about a day before the charge led starts flashing.)

Is the laptop working without the battery, directly on AC. Have you tried using another charger or battery to see if its charging.

maybe there is a flat or stuffed lithium battery or battery charging circuit in the pin 570.
fix:
leave unit to charge for 24 h
if the battery still dosnt charge because it is over discharged, then you may be able to push some charge in it after the battery is unplugged, after opening the case, and removing the circuit board

Low or flat battery. Connect to mains charger and fully charge.
