Where i could find the drivers for this wireless adapter? i lost the cd and i need the drivers for my new laptop!. thaks

The installation CD contains a driver of the adapter to run the device.If you lost the CD, you can let your computer find the driver online.

Connect your computer to the internet .Plug the USB device to your laptop. Go to device manager , look under network adapter , find Compact Wireless-G USB Network Adapter w/ SpeedBooster, right-click it, hit update driver, there will be a windows update pop-up page, so just hit search automatically.

Then enter your model # in the first box. If the device is not too old, they will have the drivers you need.

To install your wireless adapter, plug in the wireless card, and put your cd driver into the laptop. Once the adapter is plugged in, your laptop should recognize a new hardware has been installed, and will ask you for a driver (whether to automatically search for it or you can install it yourself. Pick the option of you installing yourself, and put the cd driver in. Then just go through the wizard to install your wireless card. You should be good to go from there! You can download the drivers (that are usually on the CD) from here. Please select your 'Version' from the list. You can look at the back of the device to find out which one you have, as there are many called WPC54G. Then after choosing the version click GO then click on 'Driver' to start the download.

This will let your wireless device function on your laptop computer.

The driver you need is Realtek RTL8180 Wireless LAN (Mini-)PCI NIC. I connected my laptop with a ethernet cord and allowed windows to connect to their website and this is the driver it chose. I just downloaded it and am using it now. Good luck.
