- Most Programs Don't run 64 bit operating systems very well nor have the driver support 32 bit will work fine setting that aside open internet explorer left click tools go to compatibility view settings check display all websites in compatibility view. And read below as well if this is no fix go to skype support for more help.This sounds like your problem is yours in settings .
- Update your Windows with the latest Service Packs and updates, available via Windows Update.
- Then reinstall Skype.
- After installing Skype it's important to adjust your firewall settings.
- Ensure you have the latest device drivers for sound and video (available on the device manufacturer's website).
- Make sure that you have the latest version of DirectX (the core multimedia component of Windows) installed on your computer.
How can I see how much bandwidth a Skype video call is using?
To see how much bandwidth is being used during a video call for:
Skype for Windows
- Go to: Tools > Options > Advanced > Advanced settings
- Tick option Display technical info during calls
- Click Save
During calls, click on the downward-pointing arrow (next to the volume slider) - it has the rollover text Other call functions - and choose Call Technical Info.
Bandwidth (BW) usage is shown under the Basic section:
