I know you said the keyboard doesn't work, but try this anyway:
power up, and hit the "del" key as soon as the memory check is done.
This gets you into the BIOS, then check to see if there are settings
that are preventing the keyboard from responding (like a keyboard lock
switch (external or software ).
Failing that, you may have a bad keyboard. Try while booting up to
press F8 and see if the windows will go to safe mode. If it does, then
go to the control panel and see if the keyboard is software locked by
windows.
