The dual bunn unit that gives a half pot then runs out of water. I replaced the liquid level board, and fill tube in tank and the hose from solnold to fill tube. reset timers for water on timer board. unit work like new.

Use Coke, put 200ml in water tank and leave overnight, then empty and rinse with tap water

I completely cleaned my bunn and ran cold water through it several times when it was unplugged. Shortly after plugging it in to heat up the water tank again (and without adding more water), it began...

A model number would be nice but since all (drip) coffee makers are generally the same in principle I'd wager it's your temperature sensor (underneath the heating plate) or when you plugged it in voltage escaped through the switch causing the unit to be 'on'. Think of a coffee maker like the first 1/2 of a steam engine. Water from the reservoir gets converted into steam by a burner (also warms the heating plate for the carafe) and instead of the steam driving components it gets condensed above the coffee grounds. Without that temperature sensor the burner would be going 'full blast' all the time and burn your coffee which is why a broken sensor will cause a 'no heat at all' issue while a failing one can give false signals to the control board. I hope this narrows down your issue and good luck!

Why does coffee come out while pouring in water its a bunn 10 cup coffee maker

The Bunn has a little stopper that closes the water drain port in the reservoir while the lid is open. You can see a little white plastic pin protruding up out of the grate with the lid open. When you close the lid, it pushes on that pin which causes the stopper to lift off the drain port, allowing the water in the reservoir to enter the heating tank.

If water is entering the coffee basket BEFORE the lid is closed, then something is wrong with that little stopper. It may have a chunk of debris on it preventing it from sealing, or it may be deteriorated, torn, disconnected, etc.

Only way to know is to remove the the screws in the grate and pull the top off exposing the reservoir, and the stopper assembly. The little plastic flapper disc should be seated in the reservoir drain port. It should be relatively flat (not wrinkled) and covering the drain port completely. Test it by pouring some water into the reservoir. If it drains out without you activating the stopper, then a repair is needed.

Move the lever up and down and check its operation. The arm must move freely and close when released. There should be no dirt or debris on the sealing surface of the flapper nor on the sealing surface of the drain port. Gently clean with vinegar as necessary. If the seal is damaged, then a replacement is required.

Espresso maker continually leaks when heating

Most likely a gasket problem. But you say that it drips water while it heats. Try it without the coffee holder; it shouldn't leak.

I have a commerical Bunn coffee maker. I ran vinegar to clean it out. It dripped very slow. Now, I get a 6 minute pot, the coffee is 180 degrees, but the coffee is very weak! What is up?

Coffee maker is not pre-heating the water. The brew cycle should take about two minutes, and the coffee should be 200°F when it comes out, that is why it's weak. To clarify, is it a commercial model, or a home model (like the one pictured)? Home models will have a 'vacation switch' on the side of the unit that needs to be on to get the water pre-heated properly.

A Krups KM7005 coffee maker/grinder doesn't heat or drip water .

Mine had the same problem ... all the lights are on, grinding works fine, but no heat on the plate, and no dripping of water.

After a weekend on the workbench, I mastered this machine. The KM7005 has 2 x MicroTemp G4 thermal cutoff (TCO) fuses which interrupt the Live line, for overheat protection. Mine didn't overheat per se, but the TCO blew anyway. Not reset-able ... need to be replaced with a soldering iron. To date, I have helped 13 people on this site fix this exact problem.

I'll be happy to advise you to fix this, or fix it for you. Write me at [email protected].

My durabrand coffee maker (Model CM4113D) is not working. When turned on, the hot plate won't heat up and the water doesn't pass through the system. The on/off light lights up when turned on so I know...

I've owned a few of these models, and love them as they are for quick hotel cups of coffee... where, I need to make my own. Or I'm out on the road, and can quickly make a cup (with use of a generator).

I had one die, and it was the thermostat under the bottom plate (white thing, with two wires attached at each side). I simply bought another dirty 4113 online, and replaced my thermostat with my clean and hygiene friendly 4113... and threw the other maker away (keeping the pot of course as a backup spare).

For $13 new... you can't beat the price. However, I'd not trust it in my house or elsewhere for every day use. It's cheaply made, and has no fuse or circuit breaker in case of fault or shorts. It could be liable for your house burning down. So use with caution!!!
I still love mine, for what I use it for!!!
