Olympus FE-170 When I play the recorded video in my digital camera, i hear no sounds. Is there any setting i should do?

The FE-4000 lacks a loudspeaker. You can record sound on movie clips but you cannot hear it unless you play back after uploading the video to a host pc.

This is because the camera is not capable to record the sound. The camera was not designed with any audio speakers to be able to record and playback sound recorded during movie mode.

Unfortunately nothing. The camera does not have the ability to play back any sound during movie recording as it does not have any way to capture audio. The camera was not designed with this type of functionality.

To my knowledge, an Olympus FE-170 has no audio recording capability and records the video on 15FPS.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Recording moving images. Sound is not recorded. This is clearly stated in the advanced user manual on page 12. The camera was designed without any audio capabilities.

FE-170 does NOT record sound by design.

FE-170 model don't have voice recording facility. Please read manual

From the specs i've read on this camera, it does not record sound in video clips taken.

The FE180 and FE190 do record sound.
