Just plug the Simpletech in the old computer that has the songs on it. Your computer will recognize the Simpletech drive. You can copy (from your old computer) and paste your songs to the Simpletech drive. Maybe all the songs you want will be in your My Music folder under My Documents. If so, you can just copy the whole My Music folder to the Simpletech.
Once you have the songs on the Simpletech, you can now plug it into the new computer. You can copy an paste from the Simpletech to your My Music Folder on the new computer.
You can also use the drag and drop instead of copy and paste.

Hi there and welcome at Fixya, the support team (lfete)
I mean your iPod you can just insert it in the computer with the cable and the computer will install the driver :O) then you can see the storage in the Folder "My Computer". Open the drive and simply copy and paste the songs you want to have on it, you find the copy and paste function if you highlight a song and then right click on the mouse. Remember this !! you can copy more songs in once by holding the control (Ctrl) button down when selecting the songs with the mouse OR you can copy several songs after eachother by highlight the first song and then press "Shift" and highlight the last song.
you have Put the songs using Itunes oR by simply copy pasting it from "My computer" without Itunes or Ipod software the songs will not get played on the Ipod Download itunes click here OR third party software click here
okay, plug in the ipod, then go to my computer, and right click on your ipod icon... click open and then go to music, and then copy and paste the stuff you want.
If you still have the computer that your songs originated on, you simply need to put the iPod into manually manage and click and drag the songs from iTunes to the iPod

probably not but you can look here, it is a free download and will enable you to export your ipod data into itunes, so you will not lose it. Then you can sync your ipod again once you have refreshed your library with new songs that you want
