SOURCE: my wireless XBOX 360 says ''not connected'' when I test XBOX LIVE

hi,
in this case you need to do a port forwarding, which is something like opening the specific ports on router so that xbox will communicate with internet
for that we need to know the ip address of xbox and port numbers for xbox.contact microsoft for knowing the port numbers and their range,so we can do a port forwarding on your router

SOURCE: WBR-2310 only connects to internet wired to pc nothing else

hi ! the router has a built-in firewall. you just need the port numbers for your devices (from your device manufacturer) and open them inside the router.
you can ask assistance from dlink tech support at 877-453-5465. just an advise on how to handle the call when you reach dlink tech support (agent); do not agree to call back after you troubleshoot with them (they'll be giving you a case id reference# and be advising you to check your pc or call "who" and call them back to continue the troubleshooting). insist to the agent that he need to resolve the problem asap (by the way, agents are not allowed to drop the call or they'll be dead-history!). and if the agent still insisted you to call back, ask for a "senior level technician" to finish the job (escalate the problem).
fyi: dlink tech support handling time to resolve a call is 15 to 18 minutes only. if you reach that 15-18 minutes (max) time the agent will think of a way for you to call back (advising you to check with your pc manufacturer, check with your ISP, call microsoft to update your software, etc... non-sense!) they need to do this in order to reach their handling time (agents need to reach 21 to 25 billable calls, and billable calls are "solution provided", "resolved", and "dropped call"). ---- believe me, i was one of them and repented ....

SOURCE: my laptop cannot connect to the internet through wireless connection using dlink dir615

This is an intermittent wireless connection problem. If you have a cordless phone there, that's the main problem. If none, you need to change the wireless channel of your router to 11. You can do that by opening the router's admin page. If that didn't help, you need to update the router's firmware. Contact Dlink support for more details on how to update the router's firmware.

SOURCE: Not able to configure and connect to internet using router

Manually configure the setting in your LAN, this could help.

Connect a LAN cable between LAN1 of your router then to the LAN port of your computer. Power the router.

Goto Lan settings, highlight TCP/IP, then click properties.

In your lan settings manually input IP address 192.168.0.52, Subnet 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.0.1

You can input also the DNS number of your IP.

Then open web browser type in the address bar 192.168.0.1. You should go straight thru router utility setup security log in.

This can also be set wirelessly. Leave comments if I miss something.

You can uninstall the program and try to connect using the windows utility. that is very easy and that works properly.
Is there any computer connected to the router with the cable. If yes then open the router set up page and check the wireless settings of the router.

WIFI & WBR 1310

Fix your router again. If the wifi is fine, you just have to let the nintendo search for the wireless network and connect to it. You don't have to do anything on the router to let your nintendo to connect.
