Yo a paper jam is funny. you must not be afraid to try things. this is what you have to do: open all doors of your printer and look for the jammed paper, even look for tonned pieces of paper

I have a Brother MFC 420cn and it keep saying paper jam and there is no paper jam help please

->Clear any loose paper from the paper tray. This will help you locate the jam. You will find it either in front, near the paper tray, or in the rear.

->To clear a paper jam near the paper tray, grip the paper and pull it firmly but gently from the printer. If you find a stack of papers jammed, grab from the middle of the stack and pull.

->For a rear jam, remove the back of the printer. When you find a free edge on the paper, grip it firmly and pull it out.

->Replace the back cover. Press the "Resume" button or turn off the printer, and then turn it back on. Your settings should reset.

->Try printing another document

It says paper jam remove toner but there is no paper jam at all

Try power cycling the printer. Otherwise there is a paper jam or a sensor is dirty. Every time I hear someone say there is no paper jam I almost always find one. Use a flashlight they can be very very small.

My printer keeps saying there is a paper jam. But

If the printer is sensing a paper jam, then there is either a small piece of paper jammed under a sensor, or the sensor is falsely reporting a jam.

If you cannot find the sliver of paper, I suggest that you contact Canon Technical Support or take the printer to an authorized repair shop.

My 5610 all in one series keeps telling me that there is a paper jam. I have checked and there is no paper jammed in the printer. It won't reset. It keeps saying paper jam. Help!

Check to make sure both ink cartridges are installed properly. I don't know why it says "paper jam" when the cartridges aren't properly installed, but it does.

My fax machine keeps saying there is a paper jam.

look on the bottom of your drum unit. there is a sensor opening that might have a tiny piece of paper in it, not allowing the sensor flag to reset. if thats not it, closely inspect behind rear door.

Canon MX300 Paper Jam

I have the same problem - every time I turn on my printer now, the alarm signal shows up with "Paper jam" but when I check for jammed paper, there is none. So I think there's something faulty with the printer. Is there any way to reset it? I've looked everywhere but can't find it.
