Sim unlocking my w200i is locked on to vodafone uk network. I've read / accessed info on how to do it using my imei but I can't get through to vodafone helpline i.e. 191 as my roaming network won't allow any outgoing calls only receiving. Please help as I need the code from them to unlock using the imei and steps to use on phone.

Since your phone is locked to Vodafone UK other networks won't work in your phone. In order to use any GSM sim you have to unlock your phone. To unlock your phone get the subsidy code from Unlock-Zone.com
Try to follow this method
1 - Switch ON your Motorola V3 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card,
2 - Phone will display "Enter Special Code" i.e SUBSIDY code
3 - You can now enter the subsidy code.

Yes for only about £7 GBP look on Ebay in Swiss and type on Turbo sim. I am using Vodafone in o2 N95 8gb right now and it does not invalidate your warranty. brilliant

You can use a Orange PAYG sim in there. However, sometimes orange does not lock their phones
