My mp3 player is not coming on.What do I do
I bought 2 GPX MW3837 models. One for myself and one for my son. I finally got his to turn on last night after fidgeting with it on and off all day. Now that it is off, I cannot get it on again. I have yet to get mine to turn on at all. Both say fully charged. They are turned to ON. If I press the PLAY button and hold it for several seconds it will say "HOLD" then flash "BYE" and shuts off immediately--which is the most I can get it to do. Any ideas?
when i turn it on it only says gpx a shortly turns off by its self and the battmy gpx mp3 is not playing musiceries are fully charge and the hold button is off i reformat it and its still giving problems i also tried holding down the volume button wile plugging it in the computer what should i do to fix it

1) plug in 2) go to "my computer" or "computer"(vista+) 3) look for an extra drive, should be labled GPX 4) double click the extra drive 5) drag music files there
YOu said it at the beginning, don't ever buy electronics from fingerhut. Their kitchen stuff is pretty good. But that's about it. Sorry dude. I've never gotten anything replaced through them. They always forgot it.
Under windows explorer, click on the icon for the mp3 player. On the mp3 player, switch between the Usb and Mtp mode (The M button). You should see songs from both modes.
That's because this is one of the cheapest mp3 players ever made - the display options are very limited, and the manual is not worth 2 pennies. It's a limitation of the device.
gpx mw3837 finally got the music on it but only lets me fast forward through a song not skip to the next. What if i want to listen to one of the songs added to the player at the end of the list. I would have to hold down the fast forward button forever. Any one with a solution?
I just bought this mp3 player myself...And it pretty much functions like my last one...The drivers are preintalled...you simply have to use Microsoft Media Player to Sync your playlists to your mp3 player...and "TADA" you're done..So, unfortunetly, or perhaps fortunelty (if you consider the nightmare / prison "iTunes" software forces you to use) there is not set / designed software / program for the GPX mp3 player.....So basically, Use Microsoft Media Player to interface........
