My phone got wet.Now the keys won't work,except the turn on/off key.I can't type in my PIN code.That happned yesterday.What should I do?

To turn phone security off:
**Press Navigation key
**Select Settings
**Select Security settings
**Select pin code request
**Turn use of PIN on or off, Select Off to turn off the function
**Key in your PIN and press the Navigation key.
**Return to home screen

Since You have forgotten your security PIN, you might want to Use Nokia 'Hard Reset ' to Reset Nokia Security Code. Though This will delete everything on your phone memory. So if you have access to phone (Phone is not locked), Please backup data. And also make sure phone battery is full before performing hard reset
Ensuring phone is turned off, press & hold below 3 keys simultaneously,
Call key + Asterisk key (*) + Number Three (3)
Ensuring that above keys are being pressed, Press & hold Power button until you'll see message "Formatting" on your screen. Release all keys & wait for formatting to be completed. Once completed, Phone is like just out of the box. Not physically though. Most importantly, your security code is now reset to default. Which means 12345

Order a new keyfob from the dealer and have them program it to your car.

You have 2 issue going on. Its not seeing a valid key,and it is starting with the remote.Your remote entry key did it happen to get wet? Or moisture get in? Lock the vehicle up using the key. enter the vehicle using the key fob.After the vehicle unlocks you have 60 seconds to enter the vehicle insert the key in the ignition start it up.Your remote start up is out of step.

Try the menu to dead the keys, in the same menu/photo where you turn off the answer by flipping it open or using the on key.

Solution 1.Any time your phones gets wet or by accident the phone falls off in a pool of water the best remedy is to take the batteries off immediately, don't turn the power key on, and wait for 24 hours for the phone to dry out completely.



Solution 2. Alternate solution is go to settings,select call,select anykey answer, this way u won't need the answer key any more,


Solution 3. Change the keypad,go to the nokia service center.

you may broken the turn on button so when u connect it you turn it on instantly. try connecting it and then when its turning on pulling the cord out fast and it may send u to the page were u enter ur pin code or if u dont have one then it will send u to the main screen. but then u wont be able to turn it off and you may have to try a few times

The phone is most likely done for, but if you have a torx5 driver you can take the upper assembly apart and clean up and reseat the side keys. What's going on is that the side key for some reason is staying pressed which makes all other keys inoperable.

Try a reset:
First turn it OFF, take the SIM card out.

Press * 3 send at the same time and turn phone on. Keep them pressed until the reset screen appears.
Give it time to reset.

okay...you should purchase a new keyboard that should help.
