The entire error message will not fit here. I have these errors constantly and Quark Tech help was NO help!
There is no one thing that triggers it. I could simply open a file and try to extend a rule and it crashes. Move a box, highlight text, text won't stop highlighting, this is just the tip of the iceberg. I've replaced the preference file and re-installed the application.
Would this stop if I went up to 7.0 or the new OS system?

I have had innumerable crashes with some variation of KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE on the venerable mac's I use at my office (forced to use). They seem to be at random times, but are often when I am on Safari. I do some maintenance such as with utility. I have not been able to pin down when they happen. I use many different macs including laptops and have used these since 2003 - I have had these random crashes on every mac in our office. Ugh.
