You lift the rewind crank as per almost all other SLR's but there is a safety lock around the base of the crank which you must slide rearwards (counter clockwise) first.

Make sure that you have fully rewound the film before opening the camera.

Back door on vw maxi caddy 2010 wont open, all other doors working, any ideas

The motor may be moving, but the attached arm to the actuator could be broken, fell off, etc. You will need to open remove the door panel to see exactly whats going on.

I have a Craftman Garage Door Opener Mod#139.53650SRT. It closes completely then goes back up. I replaced the sensors @ the sides of the door to no avail. I have tried to adjust the up and down on the side...

I agree with the closing resistance may be set incorrectly, all openers have a safety feature that senses if something is keeping the door from closing, this is back force, you set the sensitivity at the back of the opener motor control, it is a little dial, reduce the setting just enough to stop the door from kicking back open when it closes, I had this very same problem with my craftsman and this adjustment fixed it.

My back doors wont open

If your back doors won't open from the inside then the child proof locks maybe turned on. Open the door from the outside and look at the edge of the door near the lock for a small lever or screw setting for the child proof lock. Tun off the child proof lock and then you can open the back door from the inside.

Rear hatch door in ford windstar-mechanism came apart

My back hatch would not open but it appears the lock was sticking and the return spring to the handle is broken. We used the key to unlock the back door and then door opened. Then husband sprayed WD 40 in all the lock holes. Now once we open the door we have to push the handle back down as return spring is still missing but the door opens :) . My van is a 2002 Ford Windstar.

2006 buick lucerne back doors won't open

My friend just had this problem and he reached in and pulled the inside door handle back as far as it would go, and then let it go, allowing it to 'snap' back. For some reason this fixed it. We have no idea why. By doing this on one door, both rear door locks freed up and the rear locks are now working. Before, both rear locks were stuck and you could not open the doors from the inside nor the outside. Not sure why it works, but maybe it will work for you!

My power sliding door doesn't open fully. It makes clicking sound and a somewhat of a jerking motion. It open or closes slighty but the entire it makes the above mentioned noises. Any help would be...

I'm not sure about the noise, but the jerking motion might be because your the center roller (located in the rear middle of the sliding door) has worn out and need to be replace. This is a will known problem.

Your problem is very hard to answer because 05-10 odyssey has so many problem with sliding door.

rear latch:
-door not to latch close
-door not to work

front latch:
-door not to open

lock actuator:
-door not to open
-door will pop when opening

window motor:
-window not to work
-door will only open half way

center roller:
-jerking motion when opening
-door kick back close while opening
-door kick back open while closing

Door motor:
-door not to work
-cause door to jam

good luck

My Whirlpool Duet washer will not start. I keep getting a "dl" and an "f" signal. I assume it means door lock failure. I've tried unplugging and opening and shutting the door before restarting but it won't...

It is indeed a door lock failure. Replace the door lock/latch assembly (part number 8181700) to solve the problem.

Disconnect power to the washer and open the door. Remove the door gasket retaining hoop by stretching apart the retaining spring at the bottom of the door opening.

Gently peel the part of the door gasket near the door lock/latch assembly off the lip of the right side of the door opening. Remove enough of the door gasket to access the door lock/latch assembly behind the front panel.

Remove the three screws securing the door lock/latch assembly to the front panel and slightly lift it then pull it back off the front panel.

Pull the door lock/latch assembly out of the washer and disconnect the wiring harness.

Connect the wiring harness to the new door lock/latch assembly and install it back in place behind the front panel.

Secure the door lock/latch assembly and put the eased part of the door gasket back into position over the lip of the door opening.

Check that the door gasket is properly seated before putting back and securing the retaining hoop around the lip of the door opening and the door gasket.

How to put oven door back on after removing!

Although very tight (because the oven is only 1 yr old) i managed to get the hinges into the open position, then slide the door into position on the oven and close the door. The hinges did go back and lock as they should but I struggled for almost 30 mins before success.

After opening, my automatic garage door creeps back down a bit

There is a sensitivity switch for both directions, open and close. If you access the garage door opener in the ceiling, you will see two adjustment screws for calibrating these. I would highly recommend following the instructions in your manual, as these are life safety adjustments! Your sensitivity for closing the door is adjusted to the positive. You just need to back it off a little. Place a 2x4 on the floor of the garage where the door comes down. and when the door hits the 2x4, it should automatically come back up. If not, you adjusted it too far. Hope this helps. and remember, check the manual for your specific adjustment procedures.
