The info gripfitter gave you is incorrect - that is not the right charger # - it is not a typical charger - Shark told me the charger for model #1900W is 1078FK and cost $12.95 you have to call to order it they do not have that part online 1-800-798-7398
That is not a correct model number. You can get Shark charges at http://www.totalvac.com/sharkvac.htm You will need to find the correct model number though.
Call 1-800-798-7398 the person I talked to was knowledgable. The cost of the charger KA12D090015023U is $14 including shipping and takes 2 days to deliver.
what you need is a 7.5 volt DC 150mA charger. If you check on some sites like ebay you may locate one. Another option is you may be able to go to an electronic repair shop and they might make one up for you. You nedd to bring them the sweeper so they know what connector needs to on it. A 7.5 volt is not expensive or uncomon and barrel plugs are cheap also.
I have a charger that is lableled
Shark V1917 APL1172 AC Power Adapter
Model KA12D120015023U AC Adapter Power Supply for models V1917 & APL1172

thanks

I have misplaced my manual and don't know how to attach the hose and attachments. HELP!Margaret[email protected] Hello, I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. The best way to get an owner’s manual is to contact the Shark factory of which I will supply the website address and cust serv phone # so you can either download a owner’s manual or they can mail you a owner’s manual from the factory. Please include the brand name and model # of your vacuum. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions. http://www.sharkvac.com/Customer Tech Support 1-800-798-7398 These are the other brands that use the same tech support line Shark / Euro-Pro / Infinity / Bravetti / and Fantom Hours are Monday thru Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (EST) Thanks, Don the Vac Man Go Ahead.
