Speed up the jet 3 power chair

What is the question??? The speed control buttons are on the keypad - left key to slow down, right button to speed up. Top speed about 4mph.

I am looking to buy a Jet 3 from a neighbor but there is no manual. I am trying to find out if they fold up to put in a trunk.

On the Jet3 Ultra the armrests and footrests fold up. The headrest is adjustable up and down. I don't recommend removing the seat except to work on the batteries - the wiring could be damaged. My answer is NO! This is a 300+ lb. power chair and very awkward to manhandle.

When I turn on controller power the speed lights flash slowly. Joystick does nothing and chair is dead. Chair is Pride Jet 3 Ultra.

Do all of the speed lights flash at the same time or do they ripple from left to right? If they ripple from left to right the chair is in lock mode and you can use the unlock procedures from my tips to unlock. If they are all flashing at the same time you have an internal joystick problem and the joystick needs to be replaced Hope this helps

I HAVE A JET 3 ULTRA CHAIR, WE LOSS THE 24V PRIDE JET 3 Ultra Power Chair Smart Battery Charger, CAN WE USE A COMPUTER CABLE INSTEAD IF NOT WHAT CAN WE DO.

You can use the AC charger cord from a computer as a replacement for the AC cord of the charger. If the AC cord plugs into the wall and plugs into the charger or charger receptacle on the back of the power chair, you can use it.
If I remember correctly, This chair has a 4 Amp on-board charger which has an AC receptacle on the back of the chair to plug in an AC cord. The off-board chargers take a universal AC cord which will work with a universal computer AC cord. If the AC cord plugs in, use it.

Can you put larger tires on a Jet 3 Ultra?

You can probably go up to a 12" tire without it interfering with the shroud cover around the tire and without affecting the dynamics of the chair too much. It's gonna' cost you a lot, however, and the larger tires won't do much to increase the speed of the chair, if that's your purpose.

The Jet 3 has front anti-tips that are adjustable by removing the shroud and turning the nut on top of the anti-tip. When you put on taller drive tires, you will need to adjust the anti-tips down a bit to compensate for the adjusted angle with a higher tire profile.
