I received an email invoice from "iTunes Store [[email protected]}." Order no. 6871265, $783.99 total. I did not order anything from the iTunes Store. I replied to that address, and have received no response. I clicked on "account information" and "purchase history," and they were inoperable. Please clear my account, and try to find out where the erroneous charge came from.

Hello hnuss,
That order number is a fake order number (so it seems) but just in case I suggest you contact iTunes Customer Support immediately and have them look into this further for you.
I heard there was a fraudulent email sent by (Not Apple) but someone else with fake 'invoice' information and purchases.
Here's the link for you to skip searching all over Apple's website :) http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html

I have been sent a invoice from the i tunes store with ref to the app store for scrivener plus apalon apps which i have not ordered i cannot get onto the site to cancel this order for 22.98.

You may be best to just ignore the invoice. One of the scams out there is to send people invoices and hope they log onto a fake website from the link they supplied. If you fall for it, they get your credit card number. Even if you don't give them a credit card, if you follow their link and try to log in, they now have your login info. I suggest you log into the iTunes store the way you normally do, DO NOT go to the link in the invoice and then change your password as soon as possible.

How do I redeem my iTunes gift card on my iPhone?

You can redeem iTunes Store Gift Cards and content codes in the iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, or Mac App Store.
  • If you have a Mac App Store content code, you must redeem it in the Mac App Store.
  • If you have a promotional code, you must redeem it before the date printed on the card.
  • If you have an Apple Store Gift Card, instead of following the steps below, you can redeem it online or in a store.
  • If you received an iTunes Store Gift card through email, you don't need to redeem a code. Just click on Redeem Now in the email.

Can't log in to iTunes account. Company cancelled my email address and I changed computers.

Change the Default Email on an iTunes Account
If you want to purchase and download items from the iTunes Store, iTunes requires that you create an account.
It uses the email given during registration as your default Apple ID for logging into iTunes services and for sending receipts for purchases.
If your primary email address changes, you can edit your account information to use a new default email address.

Launch iTunes, and then select "Sign In" from the "Store" toolbar menu.
Type your current account credentials and click "Sign In."
Select "View My Account" from the "Store" menu, type your account credentials again and then click "View Account."
Click the "Edit" button beside your Apple ID on the "Account Information" page.

Type the new email you want to use beside "Email," and then click "Done" to change the default email address associated with your iTunes account.

Access an iTunes Account From Another Computer
Your iTunes account allows you to purchase music, videos, and other types of media directly from the iTunes Store, and can be accessed from a number of devices, including your iPhone.
In order to access your iTunes account from another computer, you must enter your account information into the Sign In page of the iTunes program.
Once signed in, you can authorize the computer to play media purchased from the iTunes Store and set up other iTunes-exclusive features, including Home Sharing.

Click "Start" on your Windows PC's taskbar, then click "Programs," "Apple," and "iTunes" to run the program.
For Macintosh computers, open the Applications folder in "Finder" and double-click the "iTunes" icon.
Click the "iTunes Store" tab, then click the "Sign In" button on the right side of the program window.

Type in your registered Apple I.D. email address and password, and click the "Sign In" button.
Click the tab in the upper-right corner of the iTunes Store window with your email address on it, and type in your account password.
Click the "View Account" button to access your iTunes account.
Click the tabs on the right side of the window to access different areas of the account.
Click the "Done" tab to save and exit out of your account settings.

I cant buy songs or anything because i keep getting itunes error -1202

Howdy bartman52k,
I believe I have a solution for you!
First in iTunes, on the iTunes Store, please copy this link below and paste it into a new Internet Explorer window and hit enter. https://buy.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/redeemLandingPage
This should bring up iTunes and you'll be able to continue purchasing (-1202 should not popup).
Next solution is to check your computer's date and time and make sure it is correct. Yes this sounds odd but it can cause issues with iTunes.
If all else fails, send an email to the iTunes Customer Support who may be able to assist you further: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html

I forgot my itunes password and i also I forgot my apple id and could not find it as the iforgot.apple.com says the information provided is not sufficient to retrieve apple id

font.f1 {font: 12.0px Times} General Process:

If you cannot remember your pass code, you will unfortunately have to restore your
iPhone which will wipe everything off the iPhone and restore it back to factory settings.

• The only positive side to this is that your music, video, contacts and calendar settings will still be in tact but you may lose text messages mail and so on.

• One more possibility: if you were able to recently sync your iPhones with iTunes before you forgot your passcode, when you perform a restore, iTunes will put all of the data of your last sync in iTunes (before the passcode issue) back onto your iPhone.

• This is the process which will allow you to regain access to your iPhone.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
In order to fix your Apple ID, that I cannot assist you with, as that is an Apple authentication issue.

You may want to contact the iTunes Store via this link below and send their support an email in order to get that Apple ID issue resolved.
