Kenmore 4 burner grill only lights 3 burners

The Kenmore grill will light any of the 3 burners, but when I turn on the 4th burner, all of the burners go out. It does not matter which of the burners I light first or which is the last I try to ignite. I've taken the burners out and cleaned them thoroughly. This just started this past winter.

Looks like your regulator is not venting properly to relieve the back pressure. The best thing you can do here is replace the regulator.

The grill burners are not lighting, but the side burner does light. I have a 3 year old Kenmore grill with four burners.

Brian, is it case of the 3 ignitors not working or is it a case of gas not getting to those 3 burners? Have you tried match lighting any of those 3 burners?

I ask the above questions in an effort to determine which solution will work for you. Please advise and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Only one burner will work. If you try and turn on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th the entire grill goes out

To solve this problem, first be sure you have adequate gas in the tank. If that checks out OK, do the following:

1. Turn the gas tank valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank.

2. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank.

3. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow).

4. Once the tank valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first and set the burner
control knob on HIGH. Does the flame height look correct for being set on HIGH? If so, light
the remaining burners the same way. Do all the burner flames look correct? If so, you solved
the problem. Remember, to always open the tank valve Very, Very Slowly.

If that didn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly. It runs about $30.00 at any home center or hardware store that sells grills & accessories. If you replace it, turn the tank valve ON Very, Very Slowly.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Happy Grilling and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Flames on burners not at full flame

Hope you get this in time for your 4th of July Cookout.

1. Turn the tank valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank.

2. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank.

3. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow).

4. Once the valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first & turn it to HIGH.
Did the burner light and the fa,e height look correct? If so, light the remaining burner exactly
the same way. Now, do all the flame heights look correct? If so, you solved the problem.
Always remember to turn the tank valve ON Very, Very Slowly.

If the above didn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly, as the regulator is locked up. You can pick one up from any home center or hardware store that sell grills and accessories for about $30.00. Take your old one with you for comparison purposes.

I hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem, Please let me know and Happy Grilling!!

Kenmore 800 grill replaced ignitor i get a spark but it won't light

First and foremost, make sure the gas tank valve is turned ON and that there is adequate gas in the tank. If that all checks out, do the following:

1. Turn the gas tank valve OFF.

2. Disconnect the hose from the tank and wait 5 minutes.

3. Reconnect the hose to the tank and open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion,
slow).

4. Once the valve is full open, light the burner farthest from the tank first and turn it to HIGH. Did the
burner light and does the flame height look correct? If so, light the remaining burner(s) the same
way. Did all the burners light and the flame heights look normal. I so, you just solved the
problem (with a little help).

Remember to always turn the tank valve ON Very, Very Slowly.

If it didn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the grill's Regulator/Hose Assembly. You can purchase on at any home center or hardware store that sell gas grills and accessories for about $30.00. Take you old one with you for comparison purposes.

Hope this helped you troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know and Happy Grilling!!

I have a Kenmore 4 burner grill that I purchased about 3-4 weeks ago. 3 of the 4 burners have nice blue flames and work very well but the left middle burner gets a huge yellow flame no matter what temp it...

does the same burner flame turn blue if other burners decreast in flow-with that burner on high and others low-is it still yellow? if so Gas Valve needs to be replaced.

Loss of pressure on Kenmore 16322

I can tell you EXACTLY what is wrong. Remove the tank and open all valves to the grill. Reconnect the tank and turn it on just slightly. Relight the grill.
Ther is a safety device in the tank that needs to be reset. The only way to do it is removing the tank.
