Fixing a printer paper jam *

When working with any printer it's inevitable that you'll encounter a paper jam. Below are the steps you'll want to follow when this occurs.
As
mentioned earlier it is inevitable that you will encounter at least one
paper jam during the life of your printer. However, if you're
encountering frequent paper jams following the below steps can help
prevent paper jams from occurring.

one of the paper path sensors is blocked. check underneath tonner check if the sensor is playing freely.
Lexmark T630 241 paper jam message - Indicates a paper jam from the pull down manual feed tray.
If you check to make sure and small fragments of paper are not hindering the operation of the switch. The switch is located on the left side of the tray and will be spring loaded. The switch should move freely without binding. Make sure no toner or dust is on the optical sensor assembly. See Diagram for location.
If the switch seems OK and the printer still reports an error, the printer will require professional care.
