I forgotten the code for my N73 cell phone,when i switch on the phone,i have to enter the code to activate my phone,now i have forgotten the code and how do i unlock my phone? the handphone shop is asking for $70 to refresh the phone and unlock it and it takes 3days. is there any other way that i can get to unlock the phone?
hi..,i have a problem. i forget my phone lock code,when i switch on myphone it's a blank display showing enter code..,i have to enter thecode to activate the phone.i can't enter # sign or the * sign coz it is a number codeonly,the phone will only than activate and show insert sim card,butbefore that i have to enter the phone lock code.is there anything i cando to unlock my phone? thank you

To unlock handset you have to give your mobile EMEI number which is backside of the phone,just remove it,you got the IMEI number,then you have to give your network service provider.

If you need the SIM Pin number to switch the phone on, then you have to enter any Pin number 4/5 times, then the phone will request a PUK number. This number was on the plastic card that your SIM card was attached to. If you don't have it, only your Network Service Provider can supply it to you.
If it's the Security code you need, to get into certain settings IE. erasing received calls, missed calls, timers etc... the Nokia default is 12345 if you didn't change it, but if you did change it and you've forgotten it, let me know, I'll tell you how to retrieve it.
default lock code for cell phones is the last 4 digits of your phone number....unless you changed it in which case you should follow these instructions:
