The lock works in reverse order. I have to put in the code to lock the door, and just have to press the middle (lock) button to unlock it. I have changed the door direction jumper in every possible way. What is wrong?

Power Door Locks Circuit Description
The power door locks are operated by reversible motors. The motors are found in the following locations:
• In each front door
• The side door
• The rear door
The PWR ACCY circuit breaker (30A) supplies voltage to the door lock motors.
If you move either power door lock switch, mounted in the front doors, the LOCK applies voltage to cavity F of the door lock relay. This energizes the lock coil in the relay. Current then flows through CKT 295 (GRY) directly to the following components:
• Both front door lock motors
• The side door lock motor
• The rear door lock motor (cargo doors only)
CKT 246/294 (TAN) provides the ground for the motors. The normally closed contacts of the UNLOCK then contacts the door lock relay.
If you move one of the door lock switches to UNLOCK the polarity of the system reverses. Current flows through the energized UNLOCK relay contacts. The LOCK relay contacts provide ground.
When the UNLOCK button is pressed once on the RKE transmitter, only the driver door unlocks. If it is pressed a second time within 5 seconds, all doors unlock.
If the side door is open, the side door jamb switch ground signal is opened/broken. If you move the door lock switch to LOCK while the side door is open, the following actions occur:
• The 2 front doors lock
• The rear door locks (cargo doors only)
When you close the side door, the door jamb switch closes. This closes the ground signal to the body control module {CKT 775 (PNK)}. A 5 second timer then starts in the module. After 5 seconds, cavity A4 connector C1 of the body control module supplies voltage to the door lock relay via CKT 195 (LT BLU). This energizes the door lock relay, which sends voltage to the door lock motors in order to lock the side door. Refer to Door Jamb Switches, Liftgate Strut Switch for a schematic of all door jamb switch inputs.
If the side door opens during this 5 seconds, the 5 seconds timer is reset. The locking pulse takes place at the end of the 5 seconds. Unlocking the door resets the 5 second timer in the body control module.
Use the following components in order to unlock the door lock system:
• The LH power door lock switch
• The RH power door lock switch
On vehicles equipped with cargo doors, the cargo door opener mechanically opens the door once the door lock system is unlocked. On vehicle equipped with a liftgate, the liftgate lock/unlock release switch (mechanical key) is added in order to serve the same function as the front power door lock switches. These functions locking and unlocking all doors, including the liftgate. Once the door lock system is unlocked, press the liftgate release switch in order to electrically open the liftgate and pull the handle in order to open the secondary latch.

The Headlamps On at Exit and Perimeter Lighting modes can be adjusted using the steering wheel controls to select the wanted function as displayed in the driver information center. The Headlamps On at Exit selection will allow the driver to customize the period of time that the headlamps remain illuminated upon exiting the vehicle. This period can be adjusted from 0 seconds to 180 seconds. The Perimeter Lighting feature allows the driver to select if they want the headlamps and backup lamps to illuminate when the door UNLOCK button on the key fob is activated. This feature can be turned ON or OFF by using the driver information center steering wheel control buttons.

To enter programming with the driver information center (DIC), perform the following actions:
Turn the ignition to RUN.
Place the vehicle in PARK.
Press the Personalization button on the steering wheel to enter personalization programming.

Hi, try this as it may or may not apply to your model.Get in, open and close the drivers door, put key in ignition turn 2 clicks and take back out again, within 5 seconds, hold the 'lock' button in the middle of the key and press the 'unlock' button 3 times, then let go. Quickly repeat the lock and unlock button sequence on the spare key. All doors should lock and then unlock when it has worked.

Resetting the code: - please follow these instructions to reset the code on your Powerbolt 1000 unit:

Remove the inner cover plate from the lock.

Locate the small round program button near the left side of the circuit board (Red or Black).
* To program, the latch should be extended out in the lock position, press the reset button once, then enter your 4-8 digit code on the exterior keypad, then immediately press the middle lock button on the exterior keypad. First, I fix this problem after an hour of try.

I conclude that this dorr lock is better that is appear. Is not a 2 codes door lock, it's a 3 codes one.. and the problem you have is the third code not reset. You can put the same code in each third emplacement. you have just to press the program button 3 time for the third code...

I determinate that I put the third code by error the was i program it the firs time.

KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM With the keyless entry keypad, you can: • lock or unlock the vehicle doors without using the key. Your vehicle has a factory set 5 digit code that operates the keyless entry system. You can also program your own 5 digit personal entry code. The factory-set code is located: • on the owner's wallet card in the glove compartment • or at your dealer. When pressing the controls on the keyless entry keypad, press the middle of the controls to ensure a good activation. This system will disable the power door lock controls. These will not work until the vehicle is disarmed. Programming your own personal entry code To program your own code: 5. Enter factory set code (keypad will illuminate when pressed). 6. Press 1/2 control within five seconds of step 1. 7. Enter your personal 5 digit code. Enter each digit within five seconds of previous one. 8. The keyless entry pad is disabled for 1 minute after 7 unsuccessful attempts (35 consecutive button presses) at entering a valid key code. The keypad will flash during this 1 minute mode. However, the 7/8 and 9/0 controls will still lock the vehicle. Unlocking the doors with the keyless entry system To unlock the driver door, enter either the factory set code or the personal code (each digit must be pressed within five seconds of the prior digit). The interior lamps will also illuminate. To unlock all doors, enter the factory set code or personal code (driver door unlocks) and press the 3/4 control within five seconds. Locking the doors with the keyless entry system It is not necessary to enter the factory or personal code prior to locking all doors. To lock the doors: • with the driver's door closed, press the 7/8 control and the 9/0 control at the same time.

Sounds like they disconnected your battery when they were working on your car. Your radio probably requires an unlock code to get it to work again which you'll have to get from a dealership with proof that the car is yours.

They key fob will also have to be reset.

1. Close all the vehicle doors.
2. Insert the ignition key into the ignition lock cylinder.
3. Press and hold the door unlock switch.
4. While holding the door lock switch in the unlock position, cycle the ignition ON, OFF, ON, OFF.
5. Release the door unlock switch. The doors will lock and unlock to confirm the program mode.
6. Press and hold the LOCK button and the UNLOCK button simultaneously on one transmitter. After a delay of approximately 15 seconds, the doors will lock and unlock to confirm the programming of that transmitter.
7. Turn the ignition switch to the On position in order to exit the keyless entry transmitter programming mode.
8. Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.

Take off the inside cover and move the door direction jumper over one pin.

I believe dealer has to re-program the new code.
