Hello how does one unlock the touch pad? it happened to me before and i found the answer but, now i cant find it...please email me back, i have disabled the touch pad for now, but would still like to know how to unlock it. thanks! Jennifer

Touch pad not working

Hello,
It's a driver related issue or the touchpad is locked. Unlock it.
Each computer has it's own way on how to unlock the touchpad. Please provide me with the model of your computer so that I can provide you with the correct steps.
You can also scan your computer with RadarSync so that you will know if the drivers are out-of-date especially the touchpad driver. Your touchpad stops working if the driver is out-of-date so you might want to check RadarSync.

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today.Turn off power unplug ribbon cable from touch pad to control turn power back on and if after an hour no error code replace touch membrane if you get a fault replace control (clock Erc)

WhenI am typing an email and look up at my screen I notice that what I am typing in has gone back and has overlapped other words. How can I stop this from happening?

Sometimes this is due to touch the touch pad by mistake. Make sure to stay clear of the touch pad mouse while typing

I had found apples touch ipod last day may i get the solution to unlock it please

I found an answer on google. It was locked for 40yrs. Had to sync it back with my computer I first sync it with and then it unlocked.

Yes, this happens when you have a mouse connected to a laptop. I had the same problem .... was worried I had a serious problem. But when I disabled the touch pad, everything was fine!

My touch pad will not work was on the charger and just quit cant check messages

try repairing or changing the touch pad because chances are the curcits for the touch pad is fired this tend to happen when the phone is charged over and over so in the future try to charge the phone when the battery is nearly dead or charged at night only or at day only and also keep in mind the number of hours the battery takes to full charge if you change the touch pad and the problem persist email me [email protected]

Istalling mouseb has turned off touch pad ?

This usually happens so you dont have 2 mice running at once. Unplug the new mouse and your touchpad should come back.

Hi enniumz,

If you are using a Sony VAIO Computer, you can enable the Touchpad using the VAIO Control Center Software installed in it. The VAIO Control Center Software can be accesed by clicking "Start", "All Programs" and "VAIO Control Center". After that, click on "Mouse and Point Devices" option on the left pane of the VAIO Control Window and click the box to enable it.
