My watch face has water droplets on the inside of the crystal face. what can I do?

if you like the watch take it to a watch repair shop or a jeweler they normally do not charge very much for this kind of service. I replace a whatch face three times on one that I liked and then brought it to a jeweler to have it tested for water tightness.

You can get the watch face crystal replaced at almost any reputable watch maker/jeweler.

In order to replace the crystal on your watch you are going to have to remove the entire movement and use a watch press to remove the crystal.
this is not an easy job and should be done by a professional
First you will need to get a watch back opener to unscrew the back of your Tag. The three slots should fit into the back of the watch. tighten the opener until it is firmly on. then turn counter close wise until back of case comes off.
Next you will need to remove the watch hand and crown. Becareful doing this for pressing to hard will break your set leveler. You will need a thin pin pusher and look on the back of the movement for an arrow pointing toward a hole in the movement. Push down and at the same time pull the stem and crown out of movement. turn the watch right side up and the watch movement should fall out. Place movement on a very safe spot so not to damage movement or dial
now you will you be ready to remove crystal Since it is a friction crystal you will need to do use a watch case press . find two die that fit exactly the watch and crystal use a scooped side and place it on the bottom side of the watch press. Next use a flat die to place on top of the case press. place the watch face down. you will be pushing the watch crystal out from the top. Press down on the level and check to see if the crystal came loose, keep doing so till the crystal comes out.
finally you will need to measure the thickness and diameter of the crystal and find the exact size. I believe this watch has a sapphire crystal so you will need a sapphire crystal too.
Once you buy the proper crystal it is time to put the it in the watch. Place the watch face up in your watch press. and slip the crystal in through the top making sure its perfectly even all around. Slowly push down on the leveler until proper pressure is applied and the crystal snaps in.
Now you have new crystal . Clean crystal thoroughly and the inside of the case. Place watch upside down carefully place movement back in. slide spacer in . Now slide watch stem and crown back in push down again on the set leveler with pin pusher.
Place case cover on back and tighten properly to prevent water or moisture from entering and you are done.
This repair should be done by a professional especially on such a nice watch. Any watchmaker can do this job and will have the tools to do it properly

Water condensation on the inside of your watch crystal means that moisture has entered your watch, most likely through the hole in which the setting crown/stem is fitted, or, possibly, through the door of your battery compartment. It's usually easier for water to enter a watch then to leave it again. Water inside a watch can quickly corrode delicate parts, causing erratic timekeeping and premature failure of the watch, so you'll want to get it out of your watch as quickly as possible.

Fortunately, it's not that difficult to get moisture out of a Swatch. Pull the crown out into the time setting position and remove the back battery hatch. Then, turn the watch face down and leave it in the sun for a few hours. If you're worried about dust and/or rain getting into your watch, leave it inside a parked car that's in the sun--that will actually speed up the drying process, as car interiors, with the windows closed, quickly heat up far beyond outside ambient temperatures (except in winter). If it's dark outside, you can accelerate the drying process by using a hair dryer set to low / medium heat and heating the crystal gently until the moisture has evaporated. You don't want to heat the crystal too much or else it may start to melt or crack.

Once the water is out of the watch, close up the battery compartment and update the time/date for your watch. You should be good to go, as long as you try to keep your watch dry when doing things like washing hands and the like. If you had been doing so, it's also time to stop wearing your watch when you shower, wash your car, or engage in other activities where the watch is exposed to a lot of water.

This method is for face crystals that are completely FLAT! Any convex crystal will shatter without proper tools!!!
Any method of putting the watch cover back with the watch remotely near water/moisture is a mistake. The watch will rust sooner or later.
So if you don't want to pay a jeweler five dollars to put it back on, this is what I did to my sister's watch cover when I could not snap it back.
I took my cushy 1/4 inch mousepad to a vise. You may not have a vise. If you don't, stop reading now and take the watch to a jeweler --one who replaces batteries.
Inside the vise jaws, I used a 5 inch square piece of wood, then my cushy mousepad, then the watch facing the pad, then the back in the right place for restoring.
!!!!NOTE: Not having the back in the right place will smash the stem and damage can/will result!!!
To push the back on, I picked a 12 point socket out of my socket set that was the same DIAMETER as the watch back and placed it CENTERED behind the back.
Recapping, inside vise:

• small board
• cushy mousepad (to avoid scarring and crystal breakage
• watch crystal facing mousepad
• watch back in correct position
• ratchet socket the same diameter as watch back centered behind cover

Slowly I positioned all these items with minimal pressure. Then when I was sure that I was ready (and prepared to hear the crystal break) I put as little pressure closing the vise that I could. The I heard a snap, and to my relief, it was the back going in!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO WHAT I DID. People with broken watch crystals become very IRATE when "all it needed was a battery"!

A screw clamp would also give adequate pressure. Any unsupported direct pressure over the crystal will shatter it!

If there is water in the watch, it's going to quit working sooner or later. If sooner, then the watch (at least the back) will have to be opened anyway. If later, then there will likely be some rust that could cause the watch to never work again.

In the meantime, I'd advise putting the watch near some dry heat -- like a radiant room heater, or maybe a hair dryer. Don't "burn it up" trying to dry out the water. You don't want the crystal to melt, etc.

Water in a watch is bad. The best solution would be to have it repaired now.

I am not a Tag expert, but do have quite a bit of experience with Rolex and Tudor watches. Without a shadow of a doubt, the top three water egress points are:

1. Crown
2. Crystal
3. Caseback

I would check the recent service receipt to make sure they replaced the crown gasket (or o-ring). If you know for sure you have submerged or wet the watch without the crown being tightened in the past, the problem is likely a mis-aligned or missing gasket (o-ring). Also, have your watchmaker take a look at the crystal and caseback. I had a watch serviced once -- and the watchmaker forgot to tighten the caseback. Thankfully, no water got into the watch.
