DD60DCW6 dishwasher i cant get out of area its in i hav draws out but rest wont budge

Dishwashers are usually bolted to the underside of the counter it is under. Open the front of the dishwasher and look up under the counter for two screws ... unscrew those and the dishwasher should slide right out. Once it is out a little ways you will need to siconect the water line from the unit. Be sure and turn the water off before unhooking it or you will flood the room. Usually the hose goes under the sink area and the water can be turned off there.
You will also need to turn off the power at the house breaker box so that you can disconnect the electric wire from the unit. If you are not familiar with household electric, you should call a professional for this.

Once the electric is disconected the unit should come the rest of the way out.

My dishwashere fills water even if i dont use it and i hav eo to drain water twice a week .

change out the water fill valve and this will solve your problem.
check the power and make sure there is no shorted wiring that would cause constant power to the fill valve.

broken door cord. remove side panels and relace. this is a cheap and easy fit. make sure you replace both sides at the same time, you will most likely find it is only one side broken at this stage, but the cords do not last very long.<!-- from fixya rte -->

Hi I have a Whirlpool dishwasher Model #DU912PFG01 Or DU912PF001 or DU912PFGG1 cannot tell the last 3. Serial # FK194309. My son noticed the dishes didn't look clean, he added DISHSOAP which then produce a...

Slog builds up in the drain pipe right before the garbage disposer. I had to replace mine when I replaced my old dishwasher. If you put vinegar in the dishwasher to unplug the pipe, the vinegar could have loosen all the slog and clog the drain pipe just like a built up in the hurt artery.

Bosch Dishwasher low water problem

The water level is actuated by pressure to the level switch.this is transferred by a plastic hose from the sump in dishwasher up to the level switch. the hose could hav excess fluid in it or be partially blocked. Try removing and emptying this hose of any fluid or gunk, Note when refitting it pays to cut snall amount off both ends of hose by about 3/8's of an inch so it fits back on tightly. If you dont do this it might leak and cause dishwasher to overfill. If this doesn't work the next step is to try and replace level switch.

Dishwasher will not drain

I hav an Americana / GE dishwasher, only one and a half years old. the dishwasher is not draining. When I turn the selection knob on the front to wash, is begins filling with water again. But, the cycle is not actually working. I removed the drain hose from the disposal unit and allowed the really really nasty collection of water to drain out. I have a feeling that the hose connection to the washer is clogged. Is this possible. If so, should I remove the hose from the connection at the dishwasher and clean the hose or could it be something else.

Thank you,

Spray arms

Sounds like the circulating pump is faulty or the spray arms hav become partially clogged. Loss of available water will stop the spray arm motion.
