Demo mode my unit keeps turning itself on to demo mode when I try to turn it off. I've tried everything and have to unplug it now to keep irt frtom running all the time.

start out by unpluging everything to it except the power. then try again. if it stays on the problem may be elsewhere. if it still turns off try another outlet at another location. if it still does it then replace it with a different unit kind of unit.

are you sure it's not just going into demo mode after you turn it off? There should be a button on the remote to turn on/off demo

go back to the stereo shop and make sure they connected the memory wire on the unit to a constant 12v source

Look on the front panel or remote for a button labeled "DEMO". The unit is probably not turning fully back on, but going into a demo mode that scrolls features across the front display.

You should rewire it, if i remember correctly yellow wire should be connected to constant + (or directly to battery +) so the radio doesn't lose any settings when you turn it off

keep pressing display demo button for sometime.it will show no demo and you're done

Okay. I found that there IS a manual release for the disc tray UNDERNEATH the unit. It is a sort of toggle lever that you have to slide to the other side and that releases the disc. The Manual does not even mention this manual release lever!

Also, it may be hidden or covered by a paper like cover.
