My Canon Powershot SD450 won't turn on. I haven't used it in a while but the battery is charged and nothing that I know has happened to it. Help. My Canon PowerShot SD 750 won't turn on anymore. Battery is fully charged, was using it this morning until the memory card was full. Took it home, downloaded the pics to the PC, disconnected from the PC and received a 'Battery Pack' message. So, I charged the battery and now nothing. Is it just broke?

    my cannon digital IXUS95IS will not turn on - I have re-charged the battery and used the memory card on my computer. First time this has happened.

Our schools Canon PowerShot SD450 memory card has no images or videos on it but the camera says memory full...help.
Make sure that the card is 2GB or smaller, the camera only supports SD not SDHC so it won't recognize a card larger then 2GB. If it's 2GB or smaller format it within the camera and then you should be good to go.

E18 error on powershot canon
Hello there,
The E18 error is related to the LENS not able to retract fully. If it is still under warranty, I would advise you bring it to the nearest service center. This is to avoid further damages. Otherwise, you can try a few things below.
There are a couple of things you can do.
1. Turn it on and then off. Spray canned air around the lens.
If trick 1 will not work out, try this.
2. Make sure the battery is fully charged. Turn on the camera and then give it a couple of firm whacks on the side. Make sure nothing is blocking the lens and wait for it to fully retract.

Canon sd450 possible battery problem?
If you have charged the battery many times then after 3 years that could be to 90% your problem.
Firstly try to clean the battery contacts and camera contactswith cleaning alcohol or contact cleaner.
If that does not help, it is a new battery.

SD450 is won't turn on, and is stuck with the lens extended
usually dust particles or the slight dislocation of gears..... one of the simplest solution is when you turn the camera on try rotating the lens clockwise very very softly ..... dont force it or it will get damaged....... 90% times it works

Try wiping the contacts in the battery cavity with a q-tip soaked with an electrical contact cleaner. Make sure the cleaner does not melt plastic. (Rub it on the side of the battery cavity.) Also clean your battery contacts.

Intermittent power up problem
Sounds like a weak or low charged battery. If you're using rechargeable batteries, be sure to charge AT LEAST 14 hours before using them. If alkaline, be sure they're fresh.
