I have a saniflo toilet installed in my attic. The pipe runs accross under the roof and is connected to the sewerage pipe for the bathroom on the first floor. What toilet paper should I - use -2-ply or 3-ply or what kind? (i.e. what kind of toilet paper should I not use)?

Any brand approved for septic should work well in the saniflow system, but the key is to use as little as reasonably possible and flush as you go. Big wads of any type will compromise the system.

Water level in new toilet bowl to low

water level in the bowl( pan) is determined by the height of the sewerage pipe level that it is connected to and is fixed by design and style of the pan
unless you are on about the water level in the cistern( tank) which you can adjust yourself

Bought a rural property two years ago and had a council inspection over another matter when they noticed water in the paddock the septic pipes were not connected to the septic except the toilet

Terry is correct
sewerage to the sewerage pipe or septic tank with the overflow of the tank running out into a properly constructed septic pit
The rest is grey water and can be used to water gardens ,lawns, paddocks etc

Toilet bowl will not refill

It is possible that the vent pipe behind the toilet is clogged (or was not installed properly). Some bathrooms are set up with one shared vent pipe, and a clog in one of the lines leading to it can cause similar problems.
The vent pipe in each bathroom does 2 things:
1: it lets the sewer gas go past the bathroom and up out the roof so you don't get sewer gas in the house.
2: It breaks the siphon as water goes from fixtures down to the big sewer pipes in the house. If it isn't working for a sink, it's not much of a problem because air gets mixed in with the water as it does down the sink, and this breaks the siphon. But in a toilet, it jsut keeps pulling water down the pipe until the water level in the toilet gets low enough to let air into the pipe, breaking the siphon.

It's not an easy problem to fix and often involves removing walls to get at pipes.
A plumber can bring a snake tool and try clearing the pipes from below or from the roof, and might even be able to bring a steerable snake that lets him control how it goes through the pipe.

I have had a saniflo operating fine behind my ensuite toilet for 2 years. The saniflo drains into the waste pipe after the AAV and before the bathroom sink. Recently when we flush the toilet and the...

may need a backflow preventer in the waste line under the sink..it is basically a ball on a spring..designed to make the water go only one way..I am guessing the wasteline was opened up with a plumbing snake..that pump may have too much backpressure from the head line..

It is blocked how do i unblock it

Turn off electricity to saniflo.Turn off water to toilet (normally an inline valve). Empty toilet bowl and cistern of water. Remove toilet, cistern. Disconnect inlet pipes to saniflo (careful as backed up water will flow out!).

Take out Saniflo (outside is normally good). Open up top with star driver and use a flat blade for the plastic retaining flaps.Be sure to wear rubber gloves to keep out germs from cuts etc on your hands.

Cover mains cables with plastic food bag and tape up. Use a solution of bleach / warm water, fill up the sanifo and leave for a while. Swish around and empty into a drain etc. I also use a hosepipe to make sure I get it really clean (esp under motor and float switch). Also check inlet pipe flappy bit and the actual pipes that connect to the saniflo

Good luck

We had that problem but the unit was built in and I could not get at it, the outlet pipe sounds like it is blocked, I cleared mine by connecting a pipe from the cold tap to the outlet pipe and flushing.
