Hi i have an HTc touch p3452 mobile. i have running internet on mobile successfully. Now i want to connect internet through mobile to computer. i have set the settings of computer given by vodafone customer care. But it is not connected. when i dial through computer it shows an error 692. what can i do. I have also download the active sync on my PC. But someone has told me that i also download the PC suite in computer. Plz help me out. I shall be very thankful to you.

i used htc p3452 - When connect the Pc with data cable shown Pc suite Wndows Mobile - But show the box of " Personal Folders for OutLook " and ask Passwod in one box . what is this ?? Pl clarifications & Solve
you should have a inbuilt bluetooth or external bluetooth for connecting your HTC mobile to laptop. If you have inbuilt bluetooth then just open the bluetooth software and turn on bluetooth on your mobile also. Pair both devices it will ask you to provide a passcode provide 1234 then it will prompt for password on your mobile enter 1234 and follow the instruction it will connected to internet. If you have external software then download the bluetooth software and follow the same steps as in inbuilt bluetooth.

Connection name::"Give any name" Moden:: select "Cellular line (gprs)" Select "Next" Access point name:: "portalnmms" select "Next" Username:: (blank) Password:: (blank) Domain:: (blank) Select "Finish"
Now Select "Setup/Edit my proxy server" below that "Add a new modem connection"
Select the two check boxes 1.) This network connects to the internet 2.) This network uses a proxy server to connect to the internet
Now you ll have proxy server box below that you will have "advanced" Select "advanced" Select "HTTP" --->> Server:: "10.10.1.100" port:: "9401" select "ok" Select "Wap" ---->> Server:: "10.10.1.100" port:: "9201" select "ok" Give ok to all options.
Now select "start" select "internet explorer" and try it for the connection... When internet is connecting it ll show "Connecting to GPRS" You ll be getting "locating" and "opening" and the webpage
