I need the pin-out diagram for the end of a hp zd 8000 notebook AC adapter specifically the end that plugs into the notebook.I think the end is referred to as a oval multi-pin although I'm not sure.I am having a hell of a time locating this info and any help would be GREATLY appreciated.Thanks Ryan

Buy the right one, it has a weird connector i never seen this one in 16 years pc and laptop work

you might be in luck,acer aspire 5100,acer p690gvm is main board with phoenix bios

You probably need to enable the port. Right click on a blank area of the desktop and choose Properties. Click on the Settings tab and click the Advanced button. There should be a tab for your display adapter or it may be under the monitor tab (varies by manufacturer). Look in these areas for setting up your TV and enabling the S-Video port.

I can't start my hp zd 8000

If no power check;

If on battery take out battery and plug in ac adapter to a known good outlet.
Make sure power connections are snug
Make sure ac adapter connections are good.
If ac adapter on power strip, turn off and on power strip
Try again.

If theres no display try the following;

Reboot and keep tapping on F8 to go to Safe Mode.
In Safe Mode select "last known good configuration" and then press Enter

Still no display;

Connect an external monitor, toogle to external monitor

Let me know if any these solutions work if not we can try something else

Hp notebook zd8000 wont power on

In this case i suggest you to remove the battery from the notebook and try to power on the notebook with the help of AC adapter so that you come to know whether the issue is with the Battery or AC adapter. If still the notebook is not getting power with AC adapter you need to take for service retailer store and fix the issue.
