Possible failure in the horizontal section of the horizontal driver or the failure of the line output transformer.
You will have to disconnect the +B to confirm if the SMPS gives the power. If so check for short in this section .
respond.

Hi , i just changed the lamp to my tv and was working fine for 3 to 4 days, but now when i try to turn on the tv- inmediately turns off, and the red light for stand by start blinking, what can i do ,please...

Hi,did you close the door cover?Make sure itsproperly shut other wise it won't tv light up. Reset the lamp
timer? you can do this by unpluging the set for 5 min
and plug it back(works for most sets). Was the fan
running ok? You can clean it w an air pressure
can. If you heard clicking or like wanting to turn on the problem could be with the board that powers the lamp. The board it's called the ballast. If its not able
to provide the power to the lamp it will not turn it on
and the red light will blink. Also did you get the original Philips lamp if you got a generic that
could be your problem.God Bless you!bless!

Tv wont come on and a red light is blinking. I have a Sony Wide screen projection TV model kp-46wt520

Can you unplug the TV for about 15 seconds, and then plug back in and watch the stand-by light. Tell me how many time the stand-by light blinks in regular intervals. If it doesn't blink at all, you need to change a fuse on the g-board. Once this is done run back through the stand-by blink light process, and more troubleshooting can be done if problem isn't already solved. If the stand-by light just keeps blinking with a count over ten just tell me, and I'll look for other possibilities.

Stand by\timer blinks, picture go out everytime it blink .

Blinking codes meaning:

  • Five blinks - AKB circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking, try turning up screen slightly.
Good luck:
