Try these steps as well:

Clear the paper jam from the automatic document feeder
Follow these steps to clear a paper jam from the automatic document feeder (ADF)

1. Press the Power button to turn off the printer.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
3. Remove any originals from the document feeder tray. Figure : Remove any originals
4. Lift the cover of the ADF until it stops.

5. Check for any jammed paper in the rear of the ADF.
6. Gently grasp any jammed paper in the ADF with both hands, and then pull the paper slowly but firmly upward to remove it.
7. Lift the tab located on the front edge of the ADF to raise the ADF mechanism.
8. Gently grasp any jammed paper in the ADF mechanism, and then pull the paper slowly but firmly upward to remove it.
9. Close the ADF cover.

Clean the automatic document feeder
If the product picks up more than one sheet of paper from the automatic document feeder (ADF), clean the rollers and the separator pad in the ADF.
Step one: Clean the separator pad and rollers

1. Gather the following materials:
   
   • A clean, lint-free cloth, or any cloth that will not come apart or leave fibers
   • Distilled, filtered, or bottled water (tap water might damage the product)
2. Remove any documents from the document feeder tray. Figure : Remove documents from the ADF
3. Press the Power button () to turn off the product.
4. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
5. Lift the cover of the ADF until it stops.

   2. The ADF rollers
   3. The ADF separator pad
6. Find the separator pad.
7. Lightly dampen a clean lint-free cloth with distilled or bottled water, and then squeeze any excess liquid from the cloth.
8. Use the damp cloth to wipe any residue off the separator pad. Figure : The separator pad
9. Find the ADF pick rollers.

10. Use the damp cloth to wipe any residue off the rollers.
11. Dry the rollers and separator pad with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.
12. Close the ADF cover.

Sir/Mam,
Mite want to have the rollers cleaned. use a damp rag and soap and water. The separation pad mite need replacement. that's the device below the paper.in the document feeder. where the paper goes in.

• If the automatic document feeder (ADF) does not pick up any pages at all, the rollers inside the automatic document feeder need to be cleaned.
• If the automatic document feeder picks up multiple pages instead of single sheets, the separator pad inside the automatic document feeder needs to be cleaned.

SolutionLoad one or two sheets of unused plain white full-size paper into the document feeder tray, and then press Start Copy Black to pull the pages through the automatic document feeder. The plain paper releases and absorbs residue from the rollers and separator pad.NOTE:If the automatic document feeder does not pick up the plain paper, try cleaning the front roller. Wipe the roller with a soft lint-free cloth dampened with distilled water. If the problem persists, or the automatic document feeder does not pick up the plain paper, clean the rollers and separator pad manually. Follow the procedures below to remove the face plate from the front of the automatic document feeder, access the pick assembly inside the automatic document feeder, clean the rollers or separator pad, and then reattach the face plate.

When ever you face such type of issue, the Scanner will display U-2 error with the Red led blinking and the TWAIN display will be "The multi feed is detected.(Code DS32006)".

To resolve the issue, please follow the steps provided below:

#Check if the documents satisfy paper specification? Please refer to the Operator’s Guide for paper specification, paying
attention to the following points:

• Is there any print within 10mm x 10 mm square in the center of documents on the top?
• Is multi feed error detected by paper length when scanning documents with different length?
• Is there perforation in the center of documents?

#Check ADF and clean pick roller, Pad ASY and around DF sensor with care.

#Replace Pick roller and Pad ASY and see if the error is removed. Check the consumable counter from the TWAIN driver screen. When the counter exceeds the permitted values, replace Pick roller or Pad ASY. If the error still occurs, confirm that the cable is correctly connected then replace the sensor.

There is no replacement rollers available so, printer needs to be replaced.

to fix misalign and paper jam problem, follow this steps.

NOTE: If the automatic document feeder does not pick up the plain paper, try cleaning the front roller. Wipe the roller with a soft lint-free cloth dampened with distilled water.

If the problem persists, or the automatic document feeder does not pick up the plain paper, clean the rollers and separator pad manually.

Follow the steps below to clean the rollers or separator pad.

1.Lift the cover of the automatic document feeder. This allows access to the rollers and the separator pad.
2.Lightly dampen a clean, lint-free cloth with distilled water, then squeeze any excess liquid from the cloth.
3.Use the damp cloth to wipe any residue off of the rollers or the separator pad.
4.Close the cover of the automatic document feeder.
