Smarthome has the T-1032 pdf manual
http://www.smarthome.com/manuals/4256.pdf

Please tell me how to - 27ea898.jpg

1) Test installation to see if your wiring technique is correct.
Open cover > set on-off switch to 'ON'
Press the tiny round reset button with paper clip
Screen displays 0:00, MO, MAN, OFF
Close cover
Push cover inward like a push-button (the cover is the manual override)
Lights should turn on
If lights don't turn on, then you need to rewire ... so re-post a re-wire question ... and then come back to this answer to program

2) Set Time and Day/ Correct time and day are needed for programs to work.
To start, notice on the screen - in the corners are little letters: MAN, MO, OFF. And to left of time is PM.
Set the Hour: Press hour button until correct hour shows, including PM or AM
Set minutes: Press MIN button until correct minutes show
Set the day. Press day key ... MO in corner changes ... for example TU is Tuesday, WE Wednesday, TU Thursday
Press one of the control buttons to finish operation

Programming overview
:
Timer allows 7 programs
Program 1, Program 2 etc
Each program has ON and OFF time
So you have to select Program 1
And then set DAY for Program 1, set ON time for Program 1, and then set OFF time for Program 1
Next you do the same for Program 2 , and then Program 3, 4 etc to 7
If you only want Program 1, then you do not need to set Programs 2 thru 7

Let's program
:
Press PGM button ... the timer screen show a P to right of time
The number 1 appears below P and indicates Program 1

Set days you want Program 1 to work: Press day button and you can see MO TU WE TH etc appear on screen.
If you want all week long, press day button until all 7 days appear in tiny print on bottom of screen
Now you have the Day set for Program 1
ON time for Program 1
Notice the screen shows ON ... this means you are going to set the ON time for Program 1
First, Set hour you want Program 1 to turn ON: press Hour button until correct AM PM time shows on screen
Last, set minutes to go along with hour: press MIN button until correct ON time minutes show
You have the day, hour and minute set for ON time

Set OFF time for Program 1: we are going to set a Day, hour and minute you want Program 1 to turn OFF
Press PGM button, and notice that OFF appears in top right corner of screen
Set the day you want timer to turn OFF for Program 1 by pressing DAY button >>> Tip set same days you set for ON times. So if you selected all seven days for ON time, then select all seven days for OFF time
Set the hour and minute you want Program 1 to turn OFF by using Hour and MIN buttons as before.

OK, the ON and OFF day, hour and minute are set for Program 1.
To continue to Program 2, press PGM button until a 2 appears on screen below the P
If you do not want to set more Programs, then you're finished
To finish, press any control button
Close the lid, cross your fingers, you did good

Understand the instructions for TS EE8

Following link has product manual that might match your timer:
Use + button at top of manual to enlarge print.
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Argos-7day-Electronic-Timer-Manual-TS-EE8.pdf

Please add a comment and say if this manual matches your timer...fixya will send me email... and I will answer.

Include where you get confused.
You set current time first... that's the time that shows on your wristwatch right now.
You set day of the week... same day it is right now.
You set hour and minute.

The timer allows you to set up to 8 programs... you can set just 1 program or 2 or 3 etc.
Each program must have ON time
You set program 1 ON
Each program must have OFF time.
You set program 1 OFF
Each program must have a day or days of operation
So you might select monday ON at 10:10 am and OFF at 3:36 pm.
And other program for Tuesday ON at 10:45 and OFF at 4:00 pm.

When programming is finished, you set mode to auto for programs to run on the schedule you set.

How do i set the system to run 2 times per day

You have multiple start times in 1 or all of the programs A,B,C or D. 1 start time in the A program will run the zones in this program once on the days it is schedule to water. Example: Think of each program as a separate timer. All want to know 3 things What time to water, how long to water for and what days to water. Timer 1 is the A program. Set to water everyday at 8 am for every zone which has a duration. Don't want the plants to water everyday take the minutes out of zone run time in this timer or the A program. Want the plants to water M,W,F add a start time, a run time to corresponding zone and M,W,F in timer 2 or B program. Want the plants to water twice in a 24 hr period add a second start time to each timer or program. and so on. The programs are only used for watering schedules with more or less days per week you want a specific zone to water. Otherwise use only the A program with 1 start time for once a day or whatever days you desire for all zones.

The auto mode isn't working on my zilla digital 24-7 power center, when on auto mode no lights come on?

Copy following link to identify timer:
http://waterheatertimer.org/GE-timers-and-manuals.html#zilla
Is this a new timer??? Or old timer that stopped working?
Replace battery.
Press reset button to clear all memory traces before programming.
Check programming for overlaps and mismatched day(s) of operation.
Test outlet for correct polarity and grounding using circuit analyzer.
Make sure light bulb is turned ON. Timers do not reach out and rotate on-off switch.
Make sure outlet has at least 80% rated voltage shown on load label. For example 115 volts x 80% = 92 volts

About your specific programming needs:
Zilla selects 12 o'clock as changeover time between am-pm.
So if you want 8:02 to 7:59 operation, then that is under the 12 hours, but it crosses the 12 o'clock am-pm changeover.
Workaround: Shorten your times to less than 12 hours just like you have done.
But set current time differently so 8-8 falls under either am or pm, but does not cross am-pm. The timer does not actually know what the current time is, so simply fudge by amount needed.

Do both outlets work on the same time setting?

Might be a 2-channel timer with separate programming (some older timers offered this but most modern ones do not), might be a timer with 1 timed outlet and other works as ordinary outlet, might be 1 outlet is defective...
The bar timer is great for 2 programs per 24 hour day, buy 2 and have two timers that fit over-under on same outlet.

Hey im having a problem, basically all im trying to do it make it so my heat lamp turns on only at night, so, i set my time to the correct time right now and then i pressed prg, set the days (everyday)...

http://waterheatertimer.org/GE-timers-and-manuals.html#zilla
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Zilla-digital-manual.pdf
1) There is no repair for defective timer.
According to manual, under Initial Timer Operation: yellow outlet is ON at 4:00 pm.
Make sure Mode button is not set to OFF.

2) Scheduling timer: Think about the zilla timer this way:
Day is 12 hours and night is 12 hours.
Your total schedule is only 9 hours, but it overlaps day and night.

If timer 'night' starts at 6pm and ends at 6am, then your programming overlaps day and night.
If timer 'night' starts at 12midnight and ends at 12noon, then your programming still overlaps day and night.

3) To solve zilla time problem, set current time differently.
4) Or buy GE or Utilitec 24-hour programmable power strip

Clock is set properly. I want to turn on outdoor lights at 5PM everyday. In addition I want to turn off the lights each night at 11PM. Problem - When I go thru the process of turning on the lights it...

I answer questions for free.
I know timers and electrical devices, and have tested most of the brands.
You posted under the Woods 7-day timer 59018 or 59028.
Here is the manual:
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Woods-59018-59028.pdf

There are several programmable timers today that look like Woods, and each brand has different programming.

If you do not have Woods, add a comment and I will walk through programming your brand

1) You have the clock set correctly which implies the wiring is correct. Good job!
2) Programming review:
Each program requires ON time to be set, and then OFF time to be set
For example you set Program1 ON 5:00PM for ALL days.
And then you set Program1 OFF 11PM for ALL days.

3) Programming steps:
Press PROG button until Timer 1 ON appears on display
Use Hour button to set 5 PM
Use MIN button to set :00
Default selects ALL days
(If you want other days, press DAY button until display shows correct block of days)
Press PROG button again to save Program1 ON

4) Now for Program1 OFF

5) To set Program1 Off
Press PROG button until Timer 1 OFF shows in display.
Use Hour button to set 11 PM
Use MIN button to set :00
Default selects ALL days
(If you want other days, press DAY button until display shows correct block of days)
Press PROG button again to save Program1 OFF

6) Program 1ON and Program1 OFF have been set ... so press the CLOCK button to return to current time.
If you want to set another program, press PROG button until Timer 2 ON displays

7) After setting programs, press Clock button so current time shows.

8) The manual shows one more thing ... if you program the timer during the hours 5-11pm, and the timer should be ON during those hours, you have to 'tell' the timer to turn ON by pressing the manual override ... after that the timer will operate normally.

If you need more assistance, add a comment.
