I have a Lift-Master Model 1245 opener with 41a4252-7c logic board. The remote wont work until the light turns off. After the 4.5 minute cycle , the remote works until the light is back on. I have reset the remote and it still happens. Suggestions?

This is a very unusual problem you have. The only thing I can think of is trying a different light bulb or try unplugging the opener and removing the light bulb. Pull out slightly on the center contact of the socket. I am thinking some arcing is causing this problem.

I have exactly the same problem. I got a new remote and it did the same thing. Door will open with remote and only until the light turns off, it will work again.
Door switch works as usual though.

Have you tried removing the bulb? I'm thinking either the bulb or the socket is causing interference with the radio signal. Crazy as that is, nothing else makes sense.

Did you ever figure this out. I am having the same problem.

My lift master 1/2 hp wont work I get a pop noise when i push the wall opener but nothing more I was told it may be the logic board, is it easy to change logic board?

I WOULD GOTO LIFTMASTER.COM AND DOWNLOAD THE MANUAL - GO THROUGH THE TROUBLESHOOTING SECTION TO BE SURE THAT YOU NEED A CIRCUIT BOARD.

YES IT IS A GOOD DIY PROJECT BUT ONLY AFTER YOU VERIFY THE PROBLEM.
(IT COULD BE A BAD CAPACITOR ETC.)

HOPE THIS HELPS

What logic board works with a Lift Master Proffessional Line Model T5011L single phase

Cannot find the model number you gave but the part number for the logic board is printed on the end of the opener with the wire hanging down. It looks something like 41A4201-6C.

Professional series, lift master 1/3 hp, the remotes will not operate door but door will operate from wall pad

Check to see if the small light in the wall pad is blinking. If so press and hold the button with the lock icon for 3 seconds.

If this isn't the case your receiver may have failed. The wall button works without the receiver;

I would remove the logic board and look for loose or missing traces on the printed circuit board.

Garage Master 1/3 HP 1997 Door Working, not responding to Remote

I have the exact same situation, except my model (139.53607) is older than yours and does not even have an LED. Remotes only works after after shop light goes off (5 minutes or so), but wall button works fine. Did call Sears Service and the tech told me the logic board is probably shot. Don't want to waste money on service call so I'll probably have to buy a completely new unit in the Spring and go through the winter without the use of a remote.

SEARS/CRAFTSMAN 53628SRT Not Closing properly

sounds like the safety door sensors are at fault, also did you reprogram the remotes by pressing the smart button on the logic board, when the safety sensors are bad the door will reverse to open state.you can pully the rip cord to manualy close the door untill you solve the problem.
