Acer Crystal Eye Web Cam

I haven't touched a single setting in my computer but I went to connect to a web conversation and my computer simply says "Camera not found". Its not even there in the hardware. What may have happened and how do I fix it? PC EXTENSA 5620Z. CAMERA NOT FOUND

webcam not work connect webcam inbuilt laptop but its showing black not showing photo own to other people.

Acer usually has 3 kinds of drivers, the chicony, bison and suyo webcam drivers. just download all three of them and try them one by one. chances are one of them will work.

Possibly webcam driver is not installed, go to: http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_4720.html, choose your operating system Windows XP or Vista and download webcam driver then install it and reboot you laptop.

try to check in the control panel> scanners and camera. and try to play with the settings.

If it isnt listed under hardware then something may have happened to cause the computer to delete the file "virus protection or firewall" and it may be that your computer just isnt reconizing the software anymore. if you have an installation disk try to use it and reinstall the stuff and go from there.

Try to locate the camera driver and do a update also might be a fix download for the Crystal Eye Cam through Acer Or another download site. Another idea would be to get a driver Program which checks all your drivers on the main items like keyboard, web cam , mouse, monitor, graphics the one i use is DriverDetective works great!

This is a common problem for Acer models using Crystal Eye. Delete the web cam from Add or remove programs. Delete all pictures from My Documents. Reinstall Bison Web cam driver. Will work!!!

it is possible it's pulled out by some accident
