Filter reset hold 3 secs. Does this mean that the filter needs replacing?

"B" in the maintenance area means a brake service needs to be done.
"1" is a tire rotation.
"2" is cabin air filters needs replaced.

Hold the filter alarm button more than 3 sec it will reset.
And I am wondering why can not you replace the filter!!

Filter indicator : The filter Indicator will be Red when you have used your water filter for 6 months, Reset the indicator (it will be Blue) after replacing the filter by holding the "Alarm/Hold 3 sec for Filter Reset" button for 3 seconds.

Most of the t-stats have you hold the reset air filter button for 3-5 secs. Or hold 2 buttons at the same time for 3-5 secs(may not be marked air filter. There should be a model# on the back of the t-stat(if you can get it off the wall or separate it from its base). With the name of the maker (brand name) and the model # you should be able to find a PDF online or call the makers customer support # to have them email an owners manual. You should be able to turn the filter reminder off in the programming/installers options. But can't say how to do either w/out knowing brand or model #. Hope this helps!!

There is a built in timer to turn on, usually after 6 months, to remind you to change the filter. Many people go longer before replacing the filter, depending on water conditions and usage. (if refrig is supplied by an RO system, filter is not needed) If you push and hold the reset for at least 3 seconds, the timer (and light) will re-set.

Push the button in, that you will see, when you open your refrigerator door, hold it for about 10 sec. then let it go, it will turn green, If the light comes on, an says you need a new filter. That is not always true. do the same thing befor buying a new filter, to make sure you need a new filter.

look closely at the panel it will state which buttond to hold for 3 secs to "reset " filter light

youll nned to physically reset the button, usually holdingdown for 3 secs, repaclin ghte filter itself will not reset the counter

To reset the filter light you need to hold the button in for 3-5 seconds , the light will usually flash while you hold the button down then it will go solid and then go out once you release the button. The ice maker will only make ice when the freezer is cold enough approx -14c . Did it make ice ok before ? There is the possibility that when changing the water filter air got into the system and has not bleed out of the ice maker feed tube yet.
The Ice maker can usually be put into a test mode by turning it off , wait 30 secs then turn it back on and press the ice level sensing paddle back three times within 15 secs of switching the ice maker back on . The ice maker should then go through a forced harvest cycle and ask for water at the end of it.
