I have a digital Hitachi TV and ITV1 keeps pixelating when I watch. I have tried to switch it to analogue so I can at least watch ITV but that too is unwatchable. Is there any way I can manually retune the analogue option ? I have tried reconfiguring the channels but that has not worked and it is only ITV that it effected. Although this is a signal problem it is odd that only ITV1 is effected and it looks as if I will have this problem until 2012. I live in flats in north london and it is a communal ariel. In the short term I want to know if I can manually retune ITV on analogue ? how would I go about this. It is a very annoying problem as ITV is a main channel and I can't watch Coronation Street properly. Regards Mark

Try hard reset, Please unplug the tv cables and power cables for 30 min and redo the cable and check its working ....

I had exactly the same problem. I finally found the power button on the underside of the TV. It is well hidden and to find it, you need to run your fingers underneath the panel. Turn it off for a minute or so and turn it back on and then turn on the switch on the panel on the upper right side where the channel and volume buttons are. It works.

Here is what you need to do to fix this. Call Hitachi Global Storage Technologies & request for the firmware upgrade.
1-800-HITACHI (448-2244)

They will send it to you for free. You get a small SD card that plugs into the back of your TV just below the Cable Card Slot. I wouldn'd have known it was there unless the instructions in the mail packet told me so.

To determine if you need to upgrade go Into the Setup Menu. Then, Go to Software Upgrades & look at the software version. I had 0110.xxxx. the version I upgraded to was 0125.0000 & it fixed the audio problem on 7-1 & 11-1.

now all channels work great.

it is problem your TV high voltage unite(EHT)
change it by authorised service centre
