My new bread machine has a setting for 1 1/2 lb, 2 lb, or 3 lb bread. If I'm using a recipe that doesn't say how many pounds it is, how do I know what setting to choose. I don't want to over cook, or undercook my bread.

I have had my breadmaker for years.Just recently I lost my recipe book.I have the Sanyo Plus,SBM-15.Can I get another recipe book?

As long as you follow recipes for the loaf capacity of your machine any bread machine recipe book will do. If you can't find one visit breadmachineshelp.com and let him know the loaf size for your machine. 1 pound, 1.5 pound, 2 pound etc. If you don't know the loaf size of your machine go with 1.0 pound for now.

Need recipy for sanyo bread maker model SBM-11

Hi bread machine recipes are all interchangeable. I could email 3 recipe books from various makers. Just be sure that your machine will make the loaf size that the recipe describes. In other words if your machine will make a 1.0 pound loaf and a 1.5 pound loaf you can't put ingredients in for a 2 pound loaf recipe. I would ask $5.99 for all 3 to be emailed to you. Do you know the capacity of your machine? 1, 1.5, or up to 2.0 pound loaves? Let me know if I can help you.

Recipes for b&d breadmaker model 2300

Knowing your breadmaker's loaf capacity will enable you to find recipes of any variety on the Internet for free.

It will also keep you from adding too much ingredients which could cause dough to over-rise and spill onto the heating element.

Remove your bread pan from your breadmaker. Using a one-cup 8-fluid-ounce liquid measure, fill your bread pan with water. As you do, count the number of cups it takes to fill your bread pan to the very rim.

Generally speaking...

If your bread pan holds 7 & 10 cups to the rim then you have a 1.0 lb or 500 g loaf pan

10 & 11 cups to fill = 1.5 lb (700 g) loaf pan

11 & 13 cups to fill = 2.0 lb (900 g) loaf pan

13 & 15 cups to fill = 2.5 lb (1250 g) loaf pan

15 & 17 cups to fill = 3.0 lb (1350 g) loaf pan

Generally speaking...

A bread recipe for use in a 1.0 lb (500 g) breadmaker should never exceed 2-1/4 total cups of flour.

1.5 lb (700 g) = 3-1/4 c

2.0 lb (900 g) = 4-1/4 c

2.5 lb (1250 g) = 5-1/4 c

3.0 lb (1300 g) = 6-1/4 c

Warning: When testing a new bread recipe it is always best that you not leave your breadmaker unattended. Stay close by to monitor its progress from time to time.

Lost manual need to know if the trilium TR 500 breadman is a 1 lb or 1 1/2 lb machine and directions. lost the manual

Bread pan Capacities

Here is how you determine the size of loaf you can bake in your machine. You need to determine the capacity of your pan. Fill your pan with water and measure the cups added so you know how many cups of water are in the pan when it is full to the very top. Here are the conversions:

1)If your pan holds less than 10 cups of water you can make: a 1 pound loaf

2)If your pan holds 10 cups of water you can make: a 1 pound loaf and a 1.5 pound loaf

3)If your pan holds 12 cups you can make: a 1 pound, 1.5 pound, and a 2.0 pound loaf

This is rare, but if you pan holds 14 cups or more you can make all the above plus a 2.5 pound loaf

FROM ANOTHER SITE:

To find your bread machine pan size:
Fill the bread pan with water and measure it out in cups
Less than 10 cups of water = 1 pound
11-13 cups of water = 1 1/2 pounds
More than 13 cups of water = 2 pounds

I purchased a Black and Decker Bread Machine and your recipe book does not have a recipe for just plain ordinary white bread. Why don't your recipe books include an ordinary plain loaf of bread? This is...

Hi, You can definitely make white bread in your machine. Just google for bread machine recipes and I'm sure you will find something. I actually went to a second hand book store and found a cool recipe book. I use this one more than the recipe book that came with my machine. Hank
