I don't know if you have a product there that is available here in Home Depot stores.
If you can find CRC226, using the spout put a small amount in your faders through the slot, including the dead ones. Do NOT use any product like DeOxit as it will wreck the faders as will WD40. Find CRC226 (there are other CRC products so make sure to get the right one) in the electrical department of Home Depot stores.

How do i connect a monitor to the 1202FX mixer

Hi, you can use the Control Room outputs to give you an additional output with it's own level control but of you want a separate "mix" rather that overall level you could try the FX send & use the FX controls per channel to set the mix - depends how / if you are using the FX of course! - Else upgrade to a mixer with 2 Aux sends - use one for FX & the other for monitor :-) e.g. some of the Alesis do this! 'Good Luck!

I have a behringer eurorack ub1204fx hooked up to a bose L1. I can't seem to get the reverb to work

you have to set three gain controls to pass the FX into the mix. The FX send gain for each input channel, the FX fader which sends the FX mix to the effects unit, and finaly the gain that sends the FX output to the mix. Depending on which effect you choose, some are very subtle.

2442FX. When the mixer is switched on the numerical displays on the twin digital FX units flash and the FX units don't work.

The flashing means the FX hasn't been activated yet. Dial up the number you want THEN push DOWN on the knob to activate and the flashing stops and the FX takes effect.

I have the PMP1680S and the vocal effects do not work, a friend researched this and found it to be a common problem with this unit, thank you

The most common problem is improper setup.

One needs to control the FX SENT to the effects unit with the FX1 and FX2 controls for each mic channel. You should see the levels on the tiny histogram alongside the effects selection dials/indicators. Next select the effect number you want so it is displayed in the window. Then PUSH in on the selector for each of the two effects to activate the selected effect. Now, lastly advance the FX to MAIN knobs to control the amount sent to the main mix. Some of the effects are subtle so try different ones.

HELLO, I HAVE A BEHRINGER PMP 3000 MIXER, AND I CANT SEEM TO GET THE FX TO WORK EVEN THOUGH I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS IN MANUAL, IME JUST WONDERING IF THERE IS SOMETHING IME OVERLOOKING? SCINCE I KNOW...

Do the following:

Set each of the FX mix knobs to 12 o'clock (halfway up to start)... I believe they are orange tops for each channel effects are desired for.

Next select the number of effect by rotating the selection knob. The display will flash.

Push DOWN on the selection knob to activate the selected effect number... the display will cease to flash. Note that you can mute the effects with a small button in the effect area and decimal point will come on showing effect, even though selected, is disabled. That small button can toggle the effects on and off.

Next, adjust the "FX to main knob" above the MAIN fader... set it to 12 o'clock to start with.
Note that there are two others that send the resultant same effect to stage monitors if used...

Now ADVANCE the FX (orange) fader to increase the input to the FX. You should start to hear the effects... SOME of the effects are subtle, so maybe choose a long delay one to get the hang of it... choose #3 for example...

The manual is NOT too clear how to use the effects and is confusing... they assume you have knowledge common to mixers... and new users don't.

I would recommend watching several YouTube videos about mixer setup... there are some good ones there !!! Most mixers have a lot in common and once you learn what is there, you can work most any of them... some of the new digital ones are a bit more confusing.

I have Behringer PMP 3000 2 channels not working fx not working and fan not working but unit turns on ok

Fan speed depends on temp sensors. If doesn't run at all when unit is loaded, take in for repair immediately.

If FX window changes with the control, chances are you have not set the controls properly. You need to havew THREE places turned up for effects: The FX knob in the desired channel(s), The FX slider and finally the knob to send the FX to the mains and/or monitors.

OFTEN the stereo channels aopear to not be working because of the A/B switch between the RCA and 1/4 inch jacks.

You did not give me enough info regarding which channels appear to not work.

I have the Xenyx 2442Fx for about 6 months. I know it's still with in the warrenty period, but I have something rather strange happening to the digital fx on Aux 3. This is a bit of a long winded one but I...

This sounds like a breakdown in the digital circuits. You are seeing/hearing digital noise. This is most likely an IC that is breaking down internally. This will take some time to find/fix. Use the unit for your gig, then return it under warranty for repair. Pay close attention and note WHEN the problem occurs. If possible, try this multiple times and record any pattern to when it happens. The more detailed the "timing" the easier it will be for the repair shop to reproduce the problem and fix it.

Keep us posted.

How to hook up alesis air fx to 16channel makie mixer what jack it goes into

Go to http://www.zzounds.com/item-ALEAIRFX.Under the picture you will see About This Product. Click on DOCs and you can download the manuals for it. Read the manual carefully and it is explained very well. Use your mixer manual to get the best set up. I would recommend using it in an FX loop that lets you mix the individual channels FX into the output you have hooked up to your computer.
