I recommend you try a different charge and see if it works. If it works you need a new charge if it still doesn't work it is your charging port and you need to have it fixed.

Battery will charge but connection of charger has to be just right to connect and then cannot touch it. will wiggle around

If you are sure that you have to wiggle your laptop charger to let your laptop charge normally, it means your hp laptop power jack is loose or dead. Either you need to replace it or fix it.
While if you are good at tech and you have a good knowledge of laptop, you may fix the power socket by yourself based on the following instructions article:

My netbook charger wont chanrge properly. I have to play around with it too charge. At some places like if i putit down it might charge but then again if it is moved abit then it wont charge. I have to...

This is caused by a faulty DC jack on your motherboard. The solder holding the pins from the jack to the motherboard break and when you wiggle it just right the solder is contacting the board.
Most repair shops will charge you at least $100 to fix this.
Repair options are A. Re-solder the DC jack on, this requires dis-assembly of the netbook B. DC jack has broken pins and it is generally possible to replace the jack unless it is epoxied to the motherboard then it's on to C. C. Replace the motherboard.
A is obviously cheaper.

It wont charge im holding it right nw hoping it wont shut down help fast

If your laptop won't hold a charge and you need to hod the connection in order for it to stay on, you may have a power jack issue. The power jack on the laptop may have been moved around from moving the laptop while connected or wiggling around the connection, and needs to be re-soldered back on the motherboard.

Also, just before taking that step, try using a different or brand new charger. Sometimes the pin inside a charger might be bent or broken, therefore not making a proper connection with the power jack.

Hope this helps.

first try to use your charger into another laptop, if the the another laptop was charged using your charger, it means your battery is the problem, but if it is still not charging it means the problem is your charger. then try your battery to use it into another laptop, as same as the i mention in the charger, if they or both fine, maybe the problem is the batery terminal of your laptop.

My charger will not charge the computer, and when it is plugged in it is getting really hot...is it my charger or battery??

Toshiba laptops run really hot, normally. It is one thing that I dislike about them. I never investigated, but presumed it was processor, as the heat was being removed by the fan.

My Inspiron B130 laptop wont charge. i have to wiggle the charger around, and sometimes that doesnt work.

Either the plug on the laptop is bad, or the charger cord is faulty. If you have a friend that has the same charger you can use it to find out which.

Won't charge sometimes

I have that exact same model Laptop.

By the sound of your problem I am guessing that the socket for the charger could be worn and not making contact.

Try www.acer.com and ask them just to make sure.

Dead laptop

Does the green light on the charger turn orange when you plug it in? Because it might have been that you didn't actually charge it. The metal ring around the charger tip sometimes gets bent so that it doesn't make good contact. If you aren't getting a constant green or orange light when you plug it in, you might not be charging it at all.

That would be the easy fix. The real problem is probably much greater, because you probably know how to charge your laptop. The laptop doesn't need a battery to run, so if it doesn't start up while plugged in, you have an additional problem.

write back if you find that the simple things didn't work and you need more help figuring out a specific fix.
