How do I change my calculator to give me answers in decimal form instead of fractions. I tried dividing the fraction and it still gives me a fraction. Could you tell me how to change it so that I always get my answer in decimal form?

When you press CHANGE, the display will cycle through the following display styles: • Mixed fractions (with or without ?) ? improper fractions (with or without ?) ? decimal numbers • Proper fractions (with or without ?) ? decimal numbers.
If your calculator is configured to be in MthIO, the fraction that is displayed is always reduced to its simplest form. (The denominator is the smallest possible.) If you do not care for fractions or radicals, you configure your calculator to display only decimals. To do that you press [SHIFT][MODE][2:LineIO]. Warning: If you do that you will not be able to enter fractions or radicals in the natural (textbook display) Another way to display a fraction or a radical as a decimal is to press [SHIFT][=] to get the result not the [=] alone.

To convert fractions to decimals or decimals to fractions, you use the [S<->D] key. Each time you press the key the result is displayed in the other format.
Alternatively, If you multiply or divide two integer numbers put a decimal mark at the end of one of the numbers (any one). The result will be displayed in decimal format.
