Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) is an identifier standard used in software construction,

I think your network is secured by a partivular uuid whose duty is to secure from external devices

Just disable the firewall and try again

Thanks ....

My Belkin USB PDA Adapter Serial adapter when

In my effort to find answer I created a bigger issue. Answer to my Belkin issue was found at the Belkin website. But now due to my own failure to read all the details of acceptance of what I thought was what was necessary to get help; I am into another software 'pay-me' software program costing $10/month or $12+ for one time help of something which is simple to fix (Fix-ya). I got tired of paying Microsoft $25 each time to answer a simple question and often told to re-booth my entire system at 'possibe loss of my info'. When I found the answer and told them what I did to fix my pervious problem they did not credit me or pay me $25. And now there is Fix-ya; NO THANKS. Please remove me from your support group list. Not interested. JB

Belkin G+ Wireless USB Adapter

What OS (Operating System) are you using??
If it's Windows 2000, XP, Vista or 7, then they MUST have any USB device plugged into the SAME USB port, or it screws up the OS.
Try going to Control Panel (Classic View), then choose SYSTEM to get into Device Manager, go down to USB and see if ANY Belkin adapters are listed (assuming the USB adapter IS Plugged In) - if you see any listed, double-click the adapters and choose to uninstall then.
If that doesn't work, then reboot, pressing F8 repeatedly before the Windows "Splash Screen" shows up. After repeatedly pressing F8 on Boot Up, you should select SAFE MODE (just the choice that only says SAFE MODE). Once SAFE MODE comes up, open Device Manager the same way you did before, then go down again to USB and Delete ANY & ALL Belkin USB adapters listed.
Then reboot and see it it recognizes the Belkin USB adapter now and hopefully will let you setup it's Software.
If you like this, please RATE me .... Thanks

Can not identify Belkin N1 Wireless USB Adaptor on PC

Hi, A couple of things: 1. Have you tried all the USB ports of your desktop PC (front and back)? 2. What is your desktop PC brand/model or at least the motherboard? and What OS please?; 3. If running Windows in the desktop PC, can you please check in your Device Manager if your USB are 2.0? 4. Are you using a USB hub or directly connected to the PC's USB port? Hope this be of some idea/help. Pls post back with your desktop brand/model/motherboard. Good luck and kind regards.

Belkin N1 Wireless Adaptor not connecting on PC

what the adviser meant was your pc cannot provide enough power to the usb port to power the unit, assuming you have tried other ports and it still wont work; you will need to either purchase a pci usb 2.0 card adapter or purchase a mains powered usb hub and connect to this instead.
